My husband and I decided to try out Tony's Little Italy, since there are so few Italian places around here that are really good. It was a bit crowded, but there were empty tables around. The hostess, however, told us that she couldn't seat us at a 4 seater table, and so we would have to wait for one of the 3 2 seater tables crammed near the entrance. Apparently it was against their policy to seat couples at 4 seater tables during dinner. It was a cold evening, so those at those tables were constantly getting a blast of cold air as people came and went from the restaurant. At this point, my husband and I left, disappointed that we were treated so rudely. We haven't gone there or wanted to go there since. I don't think there is any excuse for poor management or poor customer service policies.
