Everyone I know is always bragging about how they love this store and I just don't get it! If I can walk into a store and not buy anything, something is wrong. Disorganized, un-friendly staff, etc. I prefer to shop elsewhere. more

This store is a complete eyesore! Everything is mixed up and you have to search everywhere to find what your looking for. Prices are crazy with swimsuits at $20 per piece and clothing that looks like it was from the early 90's. Not a great place to go if you ask me. more

Good finds if you are willing to dig... 9/6/2005

If you have the time to really search at TJ Maxx, you may be able to find what you are looking for. However, most of the time I have lost patience with the store before I have been able to spend too much time doing so!! When I have found something that I think I like I usually try it on to find that it doesn't fit correctly or there is some other imperfection. My best deals here have been on shoes and accesories such as handbags, but otherwise, lately I have not had too much luck there! more

T J Maxx is not on the top of my list for shopping outlets, bargain finding, or clearance hunting. On my prior experiences shopping at T J Maxx it seems to me that they carry mostly imported rejected clothing. Check the items closely and you will most likely find flaws and imperfections in the clothing goods. The quality is poor to fair, so do not expect it to last longer than the season you are purchasing it for. They also carry accessories for your outfits. Buyer beware. more
