Tio's is overpriced and doesn't offer anything new 8/21/2005

For the prices that Tio's charges I expect unique Mexican dishes, but instead they serve the stand fair. The portions are average size. They try to set themselves apart from other Mexican restaurants by offering a variety of homemade salsas, which are ok, not great. I don't love Tio's, but I still eat their once in a while because they deliver very late. Tio's may be takeout only. more

Tastes Good - But you pay for it later 8/12/2005

Tios has some good tasting Mexican food. I particularly like the bean dip and the chimichanga. The one nice thing about Tios is that they always have coupons floating around so you can get a couple bucks off your meal. Also they deliver, so that's rather convenient. While the food tastes good, what I've had a problem with is the fact that I've tended to have an upset stomach after eating the food. I typically don't have this problem with other food, so it was quite surprising when it occurred at Tios. So it's really up to the individual to see if it would happen to them. more
