It's nice to see an old time hobby shop still around, by old time I mean trains and models and the like. things are fun there which is what hobbies should be, too many shops these days are ""collectible"" shops and that's fine but it's also nice to see a place where you're supposed to take the toy out of the wrapper and play with it. It's nice to see thingslike trains, that my dad played with as a kid and that I can now play with my kid...it's just kind of cool. more

Ok, I admit that I only go to the Time Machine to play Magic every now and then but I usually have a great experience. The only con is that some of the players are too good, not a bad thing but it takes some of the fun out of the game if you get beat on the third turn. Ok, Ok so I suck at the game but it's still fun. He's pretty cheap on his singles and a little high on his box prices but it all evens out I suppose. A fair trader and a nice play area. I go to Matt's Sportscards and Comics in Enfield for a more laid back Magic experience. Lots of players but no one who will smoke you in 3-4 turns. I'm definitely more of a casual player but look at it this way ,even if you are really bad at golf it would be cool to play against Tiger Woods. You know that you will get crushed but it's still fun to find out exactly by how much. So in short I go to 2 shops for Magic, one for fun and one for fun and a reality check. I recommend both. more

Extremely Rude. Only cares about making the sale. 3/15/2009

I went to this store for the first time and saw that they had a decent sized inventory. I made a good sized purchase (about $1500) and thought I found my new future Hobby store. Pros: Not the only Hobby store around. Cons: No customer care. Only wants money and to make the sale. more
