Tile Expo

My wife and I visited a lot of tile shops on State College looking for grantite counter tops for our new kitchen. When we walked into Tile Expo, we were greeted right away by Brett. He was not only very helpful, he took us in their back storage area and explained how we could save some money by using pre-fabricated granite as opposed to buying a slab of granite. We were full of questions and Brett took his time to answer all of our questions. We had a very good feeling after talking to Brett and went back to see him when we wanted to order our granite. He took us to the supplier where thehy get the pre-fabs and were we overwelmed by how many choices you have, several hundred. Brett walked us through the whole warehouse until we found the one we wanted. The counter tops have been installed and my wife and I are very happy, they look great. Our whole Tile Expo experience was a pleasure from the minute we walked in and met Brett. more

I recently remodeled 2 bathrooms and went to Tile Expo for all the tile and granite. I did a lot of research and visted many tile stores before finding them. The staff is friendly and professional and prices were competitive. My rep, Amanda, was the best. She was easy to work with and extremely reliable. She went out of her way to work with me until I was completely happy with my order. The bathrooms are now done and I am 100% satified with the choices made and the quality of the products. I give Tile Expo 5 stars and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for tile or granite. more

We walked in to Tile Expo this afternoon, completely confused as to how to choose tile for the two bathrooms we are scheduling to have redone. more

Do not purchase anything from this tile company along tile row (State College) in Anaheim. You are better off purchasing tile directly from Emser or other large distributors. Tile expo is just a middle man and therefore has no flexibility with its customer service. Every sale is final, even if the customer makes a mistake when measuring needed pieces. When deciding to make a purchase, they sound great and make it sound like they have everything available, despite backorders or mistakes they might make in identifying what was ordered. Working with Shawn during the purchase seemed great until he made a mistake and ordered the wrong tile slowing down the delivery of the correct product and project by 2.5 weeks. As a follow up to return extra tile, working with Brett was very discouraging as his defense was that despite the mix up, customers lie and that my business was not worth returning many pieces of a very high demand tile. I would highly recommend not working with this company and avoid TILE EXPO at all cost. more

First impression of this business is very deceiving. They are friendly and customer savy at first until you start talking with them and doing business with them. Customer satisfaction is not one of their biggest traits. I bounced a check due to the fact that the check was cashed at my bank the same day. There is no way a check can be cashed the same day unless the owner went specifically to my bank and cashed it. Due to the above, he withheld my order and demanded that I come in and pay in cash the amount due him. The owner does not return calls and is very rude when you are trying to explain to him the situation. Then...he hangs up on you while you are talking. I am employed with a company that their revenue are in the billions and worldwide and also in customer service. I can honestly say...Tile Expo is not a customer service business. more

I came into Tile Expo over one weekend with some loose ideas about remodeling the bathroom in our house. I was immediately surprised by the friendly and helpful salespeople. With their expertise we were able to fully design our bathroom in less than an hour. They were able to give us samples to home that day to make sure we were happy with the selections as well. We then returned the next week to purchase the material and learned that they have their own installation department who could handle the remodel completely for us. This was a huge plus for us as we did not have the time to find and manage all the contractors needed to complete the remodel. We put the job in Tile Expo's hands and they flat out handled it! Not only did the job come out far more beatuiful than we expected, they also completed the work earlier than promised and left our house nice and clean! I will not hesitate to use Tile Expo for any other flooring or remodeling I plan to do! Kudos to Dan and Dominic and the rest of the Tile Expo staff!! We are close to completing the remodel of our bathroom in our master bedroom. Doing the closets as well which are quite large. When we began our search on ""tile row"" on St. College in Anaheim, we had an idea of what we wanted but a lot to consider. A lot of flooring, counter top, all the tiles around the spa tub/shower to match...but not be a pattern or stone that was not going to coordinate with all the others. Wanted different stones and textures. The decisions can be overwhelming. We looked at several stores and then walked into Tile Expo. We never expected to get everything we were looking for at one store. Thought we would be between several stores trying to match what we wanted....and so on....taking so much more time. Dan, at Tile Expo, worked with us for hours, I must say. Very patiently! He listened carefully to what we wanted....and then directed us to certain items that would work for us....but also coordinate with the rest of our home. It is hard to describe how happy we are as it just about completed. Everything ordered from Tile Expo was delivered on time....everything totally matches...and is exactly what we had in mind but needed help with decisions. Easy to set up times for installation and they arrive on time. We have done other areas in our home....in past years from other tile companies but truly the best tile place we could have found. The prices are very reasonable and competitive which was a huge plus.....also. We will go back when we get ready for the next bathroom! more

Tile Expo is recently under new management. The new management has clearly got it together! Their prices are great and so is their selection. Amanda worked with my husband and I, showing us many different samples and making sure that we were happy. Dominic was very helpful in the pricing area. We got our tile at a great price, very quickly, and our kitchen looks great! Tile Mile truly had the best customer service of any of the stores we visited on Tile Mile. They were helpful, but not pushy and there to answer any questions we had. more

Ok, I havent really been to many tile stores in my life, considering ive never owned a home until recently. With that said, from the ones i have been to, Tile Expo was definitely the friendliest and most willing to provide knowledge. The owner, or manager (not sure what he was cuz he was too helpful and ego-less to be a typical owner) was awesome. In fact, all the employees I came across gave me info when needed, never pressured, and made me feel comfortable. Imagine if car salesmen did that!!!! more

My wife and I first stepped foot in Tile Expo awhile back. Tile Expo was the first store we had looked at to fulfill our needs for our remodel. We were greeted immediately and kindly offered help. Amanda Huffman, our sales rep helped us pick out a great Italian porcelain tile for our home. After spending some time with her we wanted to shop around at a few other stores. Little did we know everywhere we went we would be comparing Amanda's service and the Italian porcelain, it became appearant to us that we had already made our decision. We ended our quest and returned to Tile Expo made our first purchase and we are completely happy with the decision we made. Since then we have returned numerous times. There is nowhere better than Tile Expo for tile and stone selection, service and value. Pros: Knowledgable, Trustworthy, Kind and Honest more

Tile Expo has so many different tiles and stones to chose from. They have all kinds of Porcelains in different colors, shades, and sizes. Of all the stores I have been into on ""Tile Mile,"" Tile Expo's employees were the only ones who greeted my husband and I as we walked into the store. Robert, Dominic and Amanda (sales reps) were all very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. I recommend this store due to their wide selection, good employees, and promptness in receiving my material. Recently, we completed a remodel of our condo in Anaheim. Tile Mile in Anaheim was the place to go, but we never expected to find a store like Tile Expo. The staff was helpful and helped my husband and I choose exactly the tile we were looking for. Install went over without a hitch and we couldn't be happier with the final product. We just finished our total bathroom remodel with Tile Expo, Inc. There is a new owner at Expo as of 4/08. Everything went very well. With some material delays the job was still completed within two days of the original promised date. The staff and crew were very friendly, helpful knowledgeable and punctual. I am writing this review in response to the job that Tile Expo did for me. The Store's prices were far better than other tile stores that I visited. The selection of tile that they offered was great and the sales person Heather helped our family greatly in the design of our kitchen counters, and helped us in the process of installation with a very helpful group of installers.
