I would not recommend anyone take their animal to Dr. Tierce. He is knowledgeable, but his pocketbook\r and ego are his first concerns. He kept my dog for over a month running expensive and useless tests,\r before finally sending me to a university medical school for an accurate diagnosis. During that month,\r he ran up a tremendous bill while my dog suffered terribly. He was verbally abusive to me on more than \r one occasion and allowed my dog's condition to progress to a point where it was beyond treatment. My \r dog died, but I was informed could have been saved had we gotten to a skilled facility sooner. I will never \r forgive myself for allowing him to first manipulate and then ""bully"" me into letting him ""mis"" treat my dog. \r Dr. Tierce is controlling, very cunning and talented at playing the emotions of distressed animal owners \r for his own financial gain and ego gratification. Don't be ""sucked in"" by his ""kind doctor"" routine! more

I use to work for Dr. Tierce and he is full of knowledge but should not be allowed to touch any animal. He cuts corners so to get more money by instead of putting an animal to sleep to remove pins from the animal's leg he had me try to hold her down as he attempted to unscrew the pin from the cat's leg while the animal screamed in pain. I've seen him fall asleep during surgery due to working 18+ hours a day without more than a few hours of sleep.\r I quit due to verbale abuse and working 17+ hours and getting cursed when calling in due to being sick. more

Dr.Tierce has been our vet since 1989. There is none better.He is dedicated,driven,and genuinely cares about his patients.I have used other clinics in Ft. Worth and Dallas area-none compare to Camp Bowie Animal Clinic when it comes to the accuracy of diagnosis and quality of care/treatment. more
