Best

Good burgers especially the Lamb burger and also enjoyed the micro brews. I liked that the noise volume was high enough that we didn't have to worry about the kids being loud.

Worst

Whenever I met my friend for lunch she would choose the Tied House because it was easy for kids to eat and/or a group. I've been there many times and each time I tried a different...

Awesome ambience, wonderful beer, good food, nice service, and a very nice place to relax with friends! Pros: Beer, Food, Service... Cons: Parking around the restaurant! more

Good Beer & Bar Food Option 8/23/2006

Tied House is good option for a place to go to after work with some friends. This is your typical MicroBrew place but the size of the place is huge. Their speciality is the Beer of course! And they do a good job on it. I would recommend their Beer Sampler. It's $9 and you can sample 8-10 beers all served in 6oz glasses. Give you a good taste of everything and plenty of beer. If not they have plenty of choices and beers will cost around $6 for a pint. Pros: Good Beer, Decent Prices, Good Food Cons: Can be very busy on Weekends! more

Go for the beer and not for the food. It's average, but a good time with large or small groups. (The onion rings are great!) Pros: outdoor seating, prompt seating, good beer more

The Tied House is a good bet, day or night. Nothing is better than The Tied House downtown San Jose on a Friday afternoon during the Farmers Market. The food is excellent, the beer is great and the people watching is priceless! more
