Thornton Studios was hired by my college to take graduation portraits. I showed up to the hole in the wall studio and took my pictures on May 20, 2011. My session lasted about 40 minutes and I took pictures that I loved (the photographer David gave me a preview). After taking about 40 pictures, I received proofs in the mail and on-line that only had 5 portraits (none of which that I liked by the way). I called in and spoke to Linda who assured me that the rest of the proofs would be mailed by the end of the week. I called her again the next week and she said that they were on the way. I called again the next week and she said to give it few more days. After the third week, she finally admitted that she never mailed them and would do so that afternoon. Then she calls me back and says ""sorry, the proofs I was about to send to you were not pictures of you, it was someone that looks like you. You can come in to take more pictures because we no longer have your proofs"". After spending 3 hours in the hair salon, an hour with a makeup artist, and an hour in the nail salon to take pictures A MONTH AGO, I was not at all pleased. She offered to waive the $10 sitting fee if I came in again. WOW a $10 discount after spending $400 on hair, nails, and makeup!!!
