Unimpressed 10/31/2008

New to the midwest I was excited by the prospect of having great fruits and veggies at my finger tips. After finding Eckerts in IL, we stopped by Thies looking for halloween pumpkins. The veggies didn't look overly impressive (walmart quality at best), the pumpkin patch area charged for kids AND adults (which is weird). The high points are that it's convenient, affordable, and the jarred foods we're really yummy! more

Located adjacent to Interstate 70, the site is now surrounded by urban development.
