Worst experience of my dog's life 7/1/2011

Funny how the only good rating is the owner skewing her ratings by posting ""spring time advice for pet owners""-- this isn't a blog. I recently got my dog done here and she came out looking like a 12 year old took scissors to my dog. I've been to petsmart, petco, and many other groomers with my golden retriever and she always has looked pretty good. I thought I would take another step up with a private groomer-- BAD DECISION. This place shaved my dog down to around 1-2 inch hair all over except for her tail and underbelly. Her sides and back look awful and are way to short. This groomer has no clue on how a golden retriever is supposed to look. Also, our poor dog came home with her paws nails cut so short that it looks like they had to put a paste on them to stop a few of them from bleeding. If you have any problems with this terrible groomer-- please take the time and report it to the Better Business Bureau. I will never go back. more

SPRING TIME ADVICE FOR PET OWNERS 3/19/2011

* This blog post is now published. Would you like to write another blog post? SPRING TIME THOUGHTS Welcome everyone with big or small old and young dogs. Allergy season is breezing right in. keep in mind if our allergies to pollen is up our fury loved ones are affected also. Remember they are down in the level where pollen and dust settles. When they scamper around the pollen and dust floats up into their eyes and noses. Their eyes will start draining and they start sneezing just like us. Wipe their faces and heads with damp cloth daily to remove pollen. Keep floors and tiles clean even though we can't see it believe me it's on the dogs. Their coats act like little dust busters. You can use you blow dryer to occasional blow off dust. If they start itching stop in and try our Epi-pet stop itch shampoo treatment at home. Your Professional Pet Expert Cyndi more

DO NOT USE THE VILLAGE GROOMER 6/23/2008

The owner groomed my liitle poodle mix. When I got home I realized that her ear was cut at the tip and the insides of her ears were raw and bleeding. The owner said that since it had been so long since her ear hair had been pulled she pulled them all at once instead of the way they should be done, a little at a time and that she didn't know she cut her ear. A week later I had to take her to the the Vet and put her on antibiotics. I spoke with groomer again, she showed no concern, she would not give me a refund and just said ""a lot of dogs come here"" and she didn't need my business. I was so dissapointed in her and my poor dog has been tramatized. Cons: Vet Bills afterwards! more
