Best

Quite objectively, the tastiest pizza in boston. A thin crust, creative gourmet toppings, reminds me of my home town NYC. Many places in Boston call themselves, NY style pizza.....

Worst

i did not like this pizza at all, first off it was partially raw and cold, the sauce was overly salty, and cheese was of average taste. and did i mention overpriced

Great pizza, local landmark 6/23/2008

Great local pizza for the higher end pizza lover. Not a whole lot of room to eat, but perfect taking a slice down to Boston Common during the spring/summer. more

Closest NYC style Pizza in Boston 5/7/2008

Quite objectively, the tastiest pizza in boston. A thin crust, creative gourmet toppings, reminds me of my home town NYC. Many places in Boston call themselves, NY style pizza... this place doesn't even do that, they just brag about their taste and live up to it. Totally respect your wicked taste! Love to see the pizza being made, breathe in all that flour being spread around... a fun place to visit as well with your kids, family, or first date. Pros: great crust and toppings Cons: good pizza takes TIME! more

Classier Pizza than the rest 3/1/2008

Pizza is excellent for the price you pay, granted Newbury Street can charge more, but this place is a good deal. Highly Recommend the State House pizza, loaded with sliced pepperonni, sausage, and hamburg. Freshest tomato sauce around! One bite and you will feel like you are part of the ""upper crust"" of society. Pros: locations all around Boston Cons: limited seating more

Man Oh Manischevitz!!! 2/21/2008

\r This place never ceases to amaze me!\r Last time I was in I wasn't sure what to get so i asked the girl working the counter and she reccomended i get a small pizza with chourizo and onion. Well i did, and i had a great bottle of wine too, It was a Malbec. The chourizo had just enough spice to stand up to the wine and the onion sweetened my palate perfectly.\r The cooks are so friendly there too, I had dropped my keys on the floor on the way out and one of the cooks ran after me to give them back. Altogether great experience once again. \r Pros: everything Cons: nothing more

The rumors are TRUE!!! 2/21/2008

I just moved to Boston and pizza is my favorite food! I have been asking around and everyone has told me that I have to try The Upper Crust. I finally tried it and LOVED it!! WOW!! The service was great and super friendly!!! The lights were dim and it was an awesome atmosphere. I loved everything about it! I can be very critical and I don't have one bad thing to say about The Upper Crust! I am going back again tomorrow and am going to bring my boyfriend! YUMMY!!! Thank you Upper Crust!! more

I like this place. I found it by accident when I moved here a few months ago, and think that it's a great place to hang out, have some great pizza, and drink some good wine too. I love the crust! Pros: Good wine list. Pizza is the best around. more
