Called around for pricing and The Tint Dude has the best pricing by far. Set up an appointment and they conveniently came to me. The tint looks great and overall I am very happy with the service. more

Doesn't deserve any stars but forced to give one. Originally scheduled for a Thurs at 2:00pm. Called 1 hour before schedule to say they could not make it, that I can either reschedule or cancel. I reluctantly rescheduled for the following Fri at 2:00pm. Never showed up or even a phone call. I tried to call his phone but didn't get a reply. I shuffled my schedule around to accommodate this guy. more

Last year I really was excited to get my windows tinted. I'm a cat person and tired a few times to tint various car windows but never had much luck. Read online the "tint dude" was good......well I had to message them on their site 3 times to get an appointment. After getting the appointment I waited 2 weeks for them to show up at my work. The day they were suppose to come it was a bit windy out. I waited all day...finally at 4:40pm the guy rolls in. His car looks like it barely made it there. It was trashed and he had his dog with him. I was excited but kinda skeptical because his car was barely running and beat up and trashed. When he pulled into my work he had his dog in the passenger seat and was smoking a cigarette and said "I can't do it today"....that's the first thing he said. I was like okay....why? He said it's windy. I go well well we own 2 buildings and both have car ports. Clean buildings one had just been clean out completely less than a month ago. He said no if I do it in there (without looking) he said it won't look good. He then said I will call you in 2 weeks to come back out.....I was like okay then..........long story short went to tint works in Powell. The guy actually knows what he's doing and doesn't live out of his car. more

Had 3 cars done in 2012. 2 are still good (they are garaged). The one that sits outside is just a shade darker than stock glass. When it was tinted we used 5%. I can't get an answer from this joker after 3mos of trying. Stay away, and I do believe the 'positive' reviews are either his friends or family, just look at the specific details...they almost all mirror the other ones! What an inventive clown! more

My husband made an appointment to have our two cars tinted and told the guy that we wouldn't be home at the time of service but that my mother in law would be there to give him the money. He showed up, waited 3 minutes and drove off! My husband tried to call several times and never got an answer as he was driving away. I called from a different number and he answered. So I asked him simply why he didn't knock on the door. His response "I haven't knocked on a door in 3-4 years. People make these appointments and then don't want their windows tinted!" We had all intentions on getting our tinted. He pretty much told me that I should go with another place. So we shall..... Very poor customer service! more

I was sold on the convenience factor but please do not make the same mistake I made. We had two vehicles done at the time of our appointment. The first had multiple bubbles, discoloration of the tint, and white squiggly lines through it. The second has more than a normal amount of dirt between the film and also two lines where the tint was smashed together. I called to give my issue and was told to make another appointment. I made another appointment and have still not heard anything back going on almost 2 weeks now. All around poor installation and poor customer service. Spend the extra money and get your window tint done right. more

I have been reschedule 3 times. the owner always have an excuse to cancel and reschedule, sometimes he doesn't even show up to the appointment.this service inst reliable and the guarantee is a joke. The most common excuses are ( FAMILY EVENT, CAR BROKE, NEEDED A TWO CAR GARAGE, WIND WAS BLOWING TOO MUCH). I know the service is cheap for $150, but going directly to to other company will save you some time and frustration. I can't do business with a crack head. :( more

Had appointment scheduled he showed up but refused to drive his lowered vehicle up a compacted gravel drive way to do tint in my garage. Claimed it would fill the vehicles with dust and so on and he wouldn't do that. Told me the best thing to do was reschedule or go somewhere else with a paved top to do the tint. For a company that claims they will meet you anywhere for convenience and tint your window it was more hassle and trouble. I will definitely take my business else where! more

We set up an appointment to have him come out and do our tint and he didn't show up or even call the morning of to say he wasn't coming. Then he calls 10 hours later and claims he locked his phone in his truck but he can come now and do it. No thanks! I wonder what his next excuse will be!? more

Scheduled via his website, he called me 10 minutes later to select an exact date (2 weeks in advance). I arranged my schedule for him to come at said time. The day came, he didn't show. On the phone he blamed it on "technology" that his schedule wasn't saved in his phone. He never apologized. Got mad at me for being annoyed with his mistake. Won't do business with an attitude like that. more

fourth car we have done with this company and I have to honestly say they are great. Pricing is right on, their workmanship is phenomenal I could not be happier. The tint dude is #1 in my book more

I had tint done on my vehicle and noticed particles between the film and glass. I called this company back to redo one window, the guy told me that this happened because I was installing a CB in my truck and that my garage was too dusty and got very nasty telling me that I was wasting his time. I hung up on him and will take my business elsewhere. This is not hassle free warranty as the website states. I will never use this company again, very unprofessional. more

It's worth the money, and quite frankly, the deal you get with The Tint Dude is the best around. Or in central Ohio any way, i called at least seven other shops around Columbus and none of them could fit me in or give a honest to why they were expensive.... they could only offer disparaging comments about their competition! huge turnoff so i went with The Tint Dude. It's 4.5 star average yelp review doesn't lie!t more

Cyndi T. Powell, OH Service: Was fantastic you can't get it any easier . The guy doing the tint was awesome. Very friendly, gave good recommendations for all of their tints and the local laws, and they are straight-up. (For the ladies, they're not creepy either!) would i use theme again? you bet ya! matter of fact i have sent 6 of my girlfriends to them as well. All Happy:)Yup, I'm a Tint Dude for life.
