This store lied to me about their $100 cash card promotion. I made a qualifying purchase and was given (4) $25 cash cards (due to them being out of the $100 cards). The clerk had-wrote the date the cards were valid for (4/26 - 5/01) after telling me they were valid for the whole week of 4/26 (I was also told this by the salesman that was walking around the store telling people about the promo). I went to redeem these cards today (5/02) and was told by a manager that they would not honor these cards due to the hand written date having passed. I returned to the store with the company's ad for that week (along with my receipt proving the qualifying purchase) showing that the cards were in fact valid from 4/25 - 5/08. The manager still refused to honor the promotion due to the incompetency of their employees. The current clerks at the counter told me I am not the first customer this manager has pulled this stunt on. I have shopped at this store (#689) for the past 3 years and spend a very considerable amount of money there on a regular basis and have never been treated with this much disrespect. It proves that the current management (which I found out is brand new) is more concerned with profits than customer service. Sports Authority has now lost many customers due to wanting to save a measly $100.
Pros: Good Products
Cons: Dishonest Management
