Best Deep Dish in Austin 3/25/2006

Enjoy Mangia for what it is - a great place to get an authentic deep dish Chicago-style pizza. If you don't want this, you may want to consider something else! I love their standard (white?) crust the best - have tried the whole wheat and was really disappointed. The staff is friendly, and if you order a pizza to go you can sip on a draft beer while you wait. I highly recommend it. Pros: Pizza, Staff Cons: Limited parking, A little pricey more

Late, Small portion, below average taste 5/12/2005

Burnet/Gracy Famrs location: I called in an individual-sized pizza and they stated it would take 20 minutes. However, 20 minutes turned into 45. When I finally got the pizza, I was shocked at how small an individual-sized pizza is (thin crust). The taste wasn't anything spectacular either. I don't recommend this place! Pros: whole-wheat crust Cons: slow, small portions, taste more

Incredible stuffed pizza 4/20/2003

The best Chicago style pizza I've had west of the Mississippi. The thin pizza is cheaper and is good. Generally, the Lake Austin location has hooked me up but I went to the north location and the seasoned fries were not tasty at all and were cold. The cheesesteak was mediocre. Definitely get the pizza or the salads. Also, the north location added $2 to my bill. When I called they said it would be adjusted automatically, that they do that in anticipation of a tip. Sounds fishy to me. Pros: Awesome pizza Cons: Stick with pizza more
