Price gauging, total rip-off 2/17/2023

This company sent a plumber to replace a fill valve in one of my toilets. The most expensive fill valve I could find at Home Depot is around $27. The Pink Plumber, however, wanted to charge me $380 to replace this valve. Yes, seriously. I complained, so the plumber suddenly realized he could do the job for "only $270." I had received quotes of $150 from local plumbers, but they couldn't come out on the same day. If you want to be charged $380 to replace a $27 fill valve, then this is a business that will certainly gauge you. I won't ever recommend them to anybody. more

Service Call Request 1/27/2022

I had a leak on the main line running to my house, I dug up where the leak was and found a union had corroded and was leaking, I replaced the union with a six inch peace of 3/4in copper and wanted someone with better soldering skills them my self, I am not a plumber.so I called the pink plumber. it was a $59.00 charge just to show up. I figured how much could it cost just to replace a 3/4 connector so I said OK, the technician arrived and gave a quote of $980.00 I thought damm I don't need a lawyer so I said no. called a different plumbing company and saved more the $500.00 shopper beware more

Michele was extremely knowledgeable and I was thrilled that the problem was fixed so quickly. Yes it was a bit expensive, however I learned you get what you pay for and the fact that it was taken care of so quickly and thoroughly I don't mind paying - Thank you very much ! Helene and Steve more

DONT MAKE A $1800 MISTAKE - Read the numerous BBB complaints 1/9/2019

Unfortunately, I did not ask for the breakdown in cost as we were in a precarious spot and needed to get a gas leak fixed as soon as possible. Now doing some research online, multiple sources say to expect to pay $150-200 for a pressure test. We were charged $1253. Upon speaking with "Customer Service" (who ironically answers the phone 'how can we make you smile today?') they claimed that their cost is just significantly higher than everyone else's. I would proceed with extreme caution and get multiple quotes prior to using more

Very educational. Shocked to learn of the 90 day warranty when pipes & connections are not a everyday accessible item...the work should be warranted longer than 90 days. John Brown was excellent and helpful and answered all of my questions and made suggestions. I appreciated him and his professional polite interactions. Thank you. more

Deceptive plumber 12/27/2018

Water heater not heating properly. The tech said he doesn’t check out the water heater he just replaces both thermostats and heater elements or replaces the water heater.The price to replace parts versus replacing water heater was just about the same. The water heater is only six and a half years olds. This company is criminal! more

Plumbing Issue 12/14/2018

Called The Pink Plumber with a leaking issue. They were able to come out that day. Jason arrived when he said he would. Jason was extremely helpful and fixed the issue. I would recommend using them and they will be the only plumbing company I call. more
