The guy who helped us was nice and patient, it was our first time. The full sour was perfection. The gerkin's were perfect as well. I use to get my gerkins from the supermarket...

The guy who helped us was nice and patient, it was our first time. The full sour was perfection. The gerkin's were perfect as well. I use to get my gerkins from the supermarkets but they tend to be hit or misses, some limp instead of crisp. Will tell all my friends and return many more times. Pros: Great selections! Cons: NONE!!! more

We're Hooked! 2/9/2009

We stumbled upon The Pickle Guys during a walking tour of the Lower East Side a couple of years ago. After trying several pickle samples, we were hooked! \r \r Now, no birthday is complete without a jar of pickles (sour) from The Pickle Guys. Shipping is a killer cross-country, but for a once a year treat, absolutely worth every penny. more

Clearly the best pickles in town 11/6/2007

I was down by the Pickle Guys' store last month. One of the guys was out front wearing a gas mask because he was grinding up horseradish - what a site! I ordered a gallon of half sour pickles which was crispy and delicious. Al, the owner, was very friendly and offered excellent service - he gave me some of their almond stuffed olives which tasted very good. It was an overall fun shopping experience. I recently discovered their website www.nycpickleguys.com which I will definately bookmark. more

Best Pickles in town! 11/20/2006

This place is known for they're homemade curred pickled products. Voted best pickles in NYC by the Food Network. I've been coming here since I was a kid. People are friendly, the food's fresh. Truly the best pickles in town. Always leaving to come back for more. Pros: 2 Thumbs way up!! more

Crispy Crunchy Delights 5/31/2005

These pickles are the best!!! They are crispy and crunchy and perfectly balanced in flavor. They are always fresh and cold. A perfect snack when walking around the city on a hot day. more
