I made an appointment to try on a specific dress and had to wait because someone else was trying it on. I fell in love with a dress the first visit so there was no need to look further. I purchased the dress on the first visit but did not receive any discount like others have. Once the dress was ordered, I too experienced rudeness and pushiness. They don't listen to what you want. \r

The worst part was the seamstress - didn't want to do any work and only wanted to do the alterations that she thought should be done. She wouldn't take the sleeves in all the way, I had to convince her to at least tighten the bottom of the sleeve. She wouldn't shorten the hem all the way around, she would only shorten it in the front. She didn't want to take it in on the sides, I had to fiinally tell her that's what I wanted. \r

I was told I could have as many fittings as I needed, but when I showed up for the final fitting I was told that the dress was done, pressed, and I couldn't try it on. I NEVER GOT TO TRY ON MY DRESS AFTER SHE DID THE FINAL ALTERATIONS. I didn't push to try it on because I thought that if I upset the seamstress, she probably wouldn't do a good job on any more alterations, and she had me so concerned about it already being pressed, like it would spoil the dress if I tried it on again. In my wedding pictures, I experienced the horror of noticing things I didn't see before. \r

I could handle the rudeness of the staff, but the reluctance of the seamstress to do her job is unforgiveable. I am actually taking my dress to be fixed and setting up a photo shoot with my husband so that I can have pictures that make me smile. I didn't take anyone with me to the fittings because I wanted the dress to be a surprise - that was a BIG mistake. I needed an advocate.
