Having lived and worked at a Swiss hotel growing up, this is an authentic Swiss dining experience! Fantastic food, warm atmosphere with wonderful woodwork, excellent Swiss (non-intrusive) service.
It is not cheap, but well worth the money. Non-fondue items are solid, but for your first visit, a cheese fondue to start and Fondue Chinoise this is where they shine. Wine list is ample, fine array of aperitifs and good coffee. Chocolate fondue is a must for dessert.
Most critics of this restaurant complain about service: NEWSFLASH -- European service ideals are different from the American ideal... Your server will be courteous and efficient, but will LEAVE YOU ALONE, not visiting the table every three minutes... It will be a long meal: this is not the place to go before the opera or theater. It is best suited for large, social gatherings that will be the focus of the evening.
Pros: Valet Parking, Outstanding Fondues, Great for Groups
Cons: Spendy, Always Busy, Takes Full Evening
