What a find in Utah! 4/10/2006

After moving to Salt Lake from Los Angeles and visiting several spas around the world over the years, it was so nice to FINALLY find a spa experience that measures up to the best that I've seen. No other spa in the Salt Lake area comes close to The Kura Door. Let me suggest the Rejuvenation Deluxe Facial, the Japanese bath, and a massage...the experience was better than the 5-star hotel spas I've visited! Bravo! Poor Scheduling 1/11/2006

I left this spa more frazzeled than I came in due to poor scheduling. After my massage I was left waiting in the "waiting area" for over an hour for my next treatment, a facial. This unnessary delay caused me to be late for the rest of my days activities and I left the spa racing to pick my son up from school. I spent nearly 5 hours at this spa for 3 hours worth of treatment. No apology, just a comment that I should have allowed more time! Though the atmosphere here is tranquil, I would not recommend the services. I am returning to that wonderful spa in Sugarhouse who treats me like royality! more

When treatments start at 9:15 AM I expected to have no trouble picking my kids up after school at 2:30 PM--that didn't happen. I am returning to that wonderful spa in Sugarhouse! this is a wonderful spa - hard to believe it is here in our own back yard! i would highly recommend this spa to anyone. i have been a long- time patron of another popular local spa in sugarhouse, but will not continue to go there since i have discovered this incredible place. hats off to the ownership of the kura door. A True Retreat! 3/22/2005

This spa is absolutely world class! From the elegant Asian aesthetic to the silk tea bags, The Kura Door never fails to put me into a state of complete tranquility and peace. The staff is always kind and professional and the therapists are consistently excellent, no matter who I go to. I am especially thrilled to have discovered the organic skin care line that they carry...my skin has never looked so good! Oooo, and the ofuro tubs -- a MUST! I will recommend this spa a thousand times over. more

Nothing like it in Utah 3/21/2005

For anyone that is interested in an experience that's beyond your typical bubblegum 'day spa', this is for you! You will walk out of The Kura Door feeling like you have treated your body and soul to Holistic Heaven. My enzyme facial was truly AMAZING. All the products are organic, the drinking water is freshened with cucumbers, and the staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. Also, their skin care line is FABULOUS - load up, because you can't find this stuff anywhere else in Utah. more

i am a regular at this amazing spa and am surprised by the current rating! there is somuch buzz about this place and for a good reason...it is sooo wonderful. if you haven't been there, you must! it is soo beautiful and the staff is so gracious. the products are amazing - all organic. what a find!!!!
