This nursery carries so many different plants I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed taking my time and walking around. I found a good selection of herbs . They do carry gardening equipment, along with decorative items. They also have a good assortment of indoor plants as well. Its worth your time to stop in and look around. Prices are competitive, plenty of parking. The staff is friendly and helpful and answered all of my questions. more

A Dream Come True 8/16/2005

If you're a hardcore landscaper or just looking for a plant to spruce up the apartment, Great Outdoors is the place for you. You'll find small potted beauties or huge trees, all in an outdoor shop that's like a nature walk to go through. One of the best things about Great Outdoors is the staff. There able to talk with the most experienced gardener or dumb it down for those of us (like me!) who respond to things like "pretty" and "kind of reddish" most than the actual plant names! I wouldn't think of shopping for plants, trees, pots, etc. anywhere else. more

I love this place. 8/2/2005

The Great Outdoors is so much more than a nursery. It is a fun place to walk around. Their displays are eclectic and eye catching. The big waterfall and koi ponds are lovely. They carry so many different varieties of plants. The selection is fantastic. They also carry decorative items. I actually bought my chiminea from here. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. more
