I understand the Golf Dome offers professional golf services. These didn't interest me or a bunch of friends when we went to use their putt-putt course.
As miniature golf goes, there's nothing out of the ordinary about this course. (Except, of course, that you're playing next to a big domed driving range.) It doesn't have anything fancy like a giant pirate ship or a dinosaur or even a windmill, but that's just fine with me. Instead, there's the vaguely old-fashioned charm of playing on a pretty little course with sand traps, a little stream that seems to wind around every hole, and a few huge rocks.
What could be more American or apple-pie than little flourescent balls and loaner putting irons? It fits right in with downtown Chagrin Falls (even though it's a few blocks away), and the Golf Dome is a great local attraction. It's also a well-kept secret; before we went exploring, we had no idea it was here.
