The Center for Chiropractic & Decompression NYC

I'm a lifelong dancer/ dance ethnologist & was sidelined because of a serious spinal injury from dragging/ hauling a broken carry-on through Melbourne's interminable trek from the arrival gate, through humungous duty-free stores to Passport Control. It was a career-ender till I was told about decompression by my kid (66 years old) sister, called several NYC places & the response I got from the Center was the most honest & informative. (another practice, that advertises on the radio, refused to treat me when it became obvious that I knew what my problem was & more than average about anatomy!) That was just the beginning! Dr Noam Sadovnik really cares about giving his patients the treatment they need, answers questions fully & clearly & very much knows what he is doing. He researches everything he can for you. You never feel rushed or that you are just an income stream - au contraire! I can't recommend him highly enough & I was worried about posting this review because I'd hate to have him become SO swamped as a result, that I'd have to cut back on MY visits. more

I was just at this office and I actually did buy the bloomspot deal. There are quite a few practitioners there but I saw Maya the Acupuncturist. She was great. I too only have one review - and I actually did it because they offer you 15% off your next full price visit if you write one! Either way it was a beautiful office and it's right across from the Ace hotel which I love eating at. Would definitely go back I had no problems and Mark at the front desk was very helpful in getting my insurance worked out! more

Very knowledgable staff I have to say with the amount of moving I have done over the years and Chiropractors I have visited this has been by far the best! The staff is phenomenal and confident in their line of work. I feel I can go with any questions and Ill have an answer I can use to go forth with. Thanks Doc! more

work on computer for 12 to 14 hours a day. For the last few weeks I am having severe neck and back pain. I consulted different doctors and tried many medicines and different therapies, but the pain is still persisting. I have decided to consult Dr. Fries, as he is personally involved with his patients. more

I suffered from a real sharp lower back pain and the doctor knew exactly what to do which is what I like. I hate doctors that test things on you because they don't know. This doctor knows exactly what to do. Highly recommended! more

I had a herniated disc diagnosed by a Neurologist and was told this was causing my sciatica. I tried the medications which just made me a zombie and Physical Therapy helped but the pain would always linger. Dr. Sadovnik recommended we try spinal decompression and after 26 sessions I finally feel normal again. I had medical massage as well which definitely helped me recover from the treatments faster. The Center was great for me I highly recommend them! more

These Manhattan Chiropractors are fantastic! I've been seeing Dr. Fries for some time but now that she is on maternity I had to see Dr. Boris in her place and was nervous at first switching from one to the other but he was equally as great. Thanks for all your help. more

I was very impressed with The Center for Chiropractic - the office is gorgeous very airy and modern. I went for a medical massage and adjustment and I was feeling great after. It's now a week later and my back has never been better. Great experience. more

Hey all - you'll notice that this is my only review so far (I created an account just to post this) -- and in case you haven't checked, most of the reviewers have only posted ONE review as well. That's because the reviews for the Center are full of STACKERS, or fake accounts used to boost ratings on sites. Read some of the other users' reviews and you'll see what I mean. Just wanted to get the word out there! Dr. Sadovnik at the Center for Chiropractic and Decompression was so thorough in her evaluation of my situation. He displayed a caring nature that is unfortunately rare in the medical industry today. He asked all the right questions to decide what treatments would be appropriate. Once the treatments began he was equally concerned with how I felt while they were being performed. I truly believe that I healed faster because I was put so at ease at the Center for Chiropractic and Decompression. more

We had moved to a new apartment and our furniture arrived a week later. Meanwhile we were sleeping on the floor and I developed a shoulder injury from lying on the hard floor that was making it difficult to raise my arm. I went right to the Center for Chiropractic and Decompression where they performed Chiropractic on me and gave me some therapeutic exercises that I could do at home. After a around ten days and sleeping in my bed again the pain was almost gone. I am glad that I had known about the Center for Chiropractic and decompression. more

I was only a three foot wide gully and it should have been no problem jumping it. Clearing it was not a problem but landing was. My leg was so stiff that I could barely walk. The pain was like a nighttime leg cramp but it was in the back of my thigh and I could not rub it out. My wife took me to the Center for Chiropractic and Decompression where they told I had a pulled hamstring. I though only wide receivers got those. They worked on my leg for about 30 minutes and had me back several times after. I felt relief almost immediately. It was only a couple of weeks and it was like it never happened. more

They briefly listened to me, but quickly downplayed everything I said or stopped paying attention. I really loved that they offered on-site X-Rays. It was so convenient, and I didn't have to spend any extra time driving somewhere else to get them done. The chairs in their waiting room were definitely above average. I was comfortable. One thing hated and it is a reason to make me stop going there, was that they didn't update me at all about how I was progressing, or where I was at in the recovery process. I went in to my appointments with no idea about how long I would have to keep coming, or how soon I would be fully recovered. I'm usually somewhat sensitive to the cold, so I was a little worried that their office would be too cold, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time. They messed up with my insurance inquiries and I had to pay from my pocket for the 12 visits, they didn't inform me at all on the insurance front, I had to suddenly pay the full amount for 12 sessions at once (more than 500 USD), and when I asked how many more sessions I will need so I can budget and pay for them, I got no answer, only a promise to call me back and tell me how many sessions, obviously they have no idea, they just want you to keep coming and paying. I am never going back there more

I was injured in a hockey game with a pulled groin. I went to the Center for Chiropractic and Decompression and they gave me some therapy and exercise plans to follow. I went back several times and in a few weeks I was back on the ice and playing as well as ever. I could have gone to anywhere in New York but the Center for Chiropractic and Decompression was highly recommended by my trainer. Now I know why. more

I couldn?t go to the bathroom like normal people do so terrible back pain I had. Dr. Noam Sadovnik from The Center for Chiropractic & Decompression NYC started to adjust me and I am all back to normal. Dr. Noam Sadovnik showed me that he was friendly and really good at his job. It is so great to be able to back my car out of the driveway without the severe pain that I had before treatment. I had been experiencing Sciatica and that is almost gone now. I'm so happy I came to The Center for Chiropractic & Decompression NYC. I was having pain in my neck, lower back and slight pain in left hip I don't mind going to my doctor but I didn't want to get pills for the pain. The problem I was experiencing prior to treatment at The Center for Chiropractic & Decompression NYC was left shoulder and arm pain. When I first came in I could hardly move my shoulder.
