The Carpet Broker Design Center treated me fairly well. I have limited mobility, and they were able to address concerns in regard to what kind of carpeting I would need to have in my place. Luis, really and truly, blew me away. There is a transition in my home between the carpet and linoleum, and we were going to put a thin metal strip there, but Luis on his own accord suggested that we put a wide metal strip between the two. He felt that the wider metal strip would stand up to the scooter as it goes over it again and again and again. I, as a consumer, had no idea that this was available, and the cost was significantly more than the thin one, but Carpet Broker chose to eat the cost of it and installed it for me. Can you think of any other companies that would do that? Yeah, that's why I'm a fan. From the owner, Karl Kramer, who chose to spend time teaching me about his industry, to Sarah Bennett, who had the patience to take my numerous phone calls and visit with me multiple times, to the installer Luis, who was sensitive to my aging father, they're a top notch company. more

I priced out carpeting at all the major chain stores. But I really prefer to shop at the local stores. I searched out online, and The Carpet Broker Design Center was not that much more. But they made up for being a little more pricey, with their great customer service. I talked to them about payment plans and they were really open and willing to work with me. I asked if it would be possible for them to do two separate installations, as I was able to pay them. Instead, they worked it out so that I paid them a deposit and they did the entire installations all at one time and set it up so I could pay them in two installments. That would never happen with other companies. The two installers were great. They were very helpful, nice and definitely professional. I had a really good experience with this company and have highly recommended them to friends. more

I didn't do any comparative shopping before going with The Carpet Broker Design Center, so I don't know about their pricing, but their professionalism was good. I think they could have put some plastic down rather than letting dust be everywhere when they were working though. Even Starla was surprised that they didn't. But they do want to make your experience a good one with them. more

My experience with The Carpet Broker Design Center has always been very professional. Everything came out just fine. I think the biggest thing is that they're in the customer service business. First and foremost, it's about taking care of the customer, and to do that, make sure the job is done right. And that's what they do, if there's an issue or a problem, they'll work on it until it's right. I've referred a lot of people to them, I think they're a great company! more

I've been using the Carpet Broker Design Center for seven or eight years and have known the owner for longer than that. I've used them a number of times over the years. What stands out to me about the Carpet Broker Design Center is their variety of product and their willingness to help. Overall, it's always been an excellent experience with them. If you know what you want--or even if you don't--the Carpet Broker Design Center is the place to go. They'll be able to help you out and their price for value is very good! I ended up using The Carpet Broker Design Center because they were located right next door to a store where I was purchasing new furniture. When I went in and told them what I was looking for, they helped me carry rugs from their showroom over to the furniture store so I could be sure that they matched. They even let me take one rug home to try it on my floor before buying it. Most stores won't do that. The staff at Carpet Broker were all very friendly. I felt that they were there to provide information, not simply to sell me rugs. They really wanted to help me, and as a result I've sent a few of my neighbors there. One ended up using them to replace her hardwood floors and another had them install carpeting. They were both just as satisfied as myself. I can say with confidence that Carpet Broker will give you the knowledge you need to make the right decision for your home, and perform the work with quality in every aspect. They offer competitive prices, but far better service than the competition. more

We were shopping for a certain product for our office floor. We had seen an article in the paper about The Carpet Broker Design Center, and how they put their store space together and were sharing with other contractors during this tough economy. We thought that was such a neat idea, so we decided to go with them. We wanted a durable, long-lasting floor for our office. We didn't really shop around, so I can't say with certainty that they had the best prices in town. However, they answered all of our questions, there were no high pressure sales, and they allowed us to make up our minds on our own. We are very pleased with the results, and we feel that it will last us a good, long while. more

My most recent experience with Carpet Broker was for my own house. They did my kitchen for me. The installed new granite countertops, a lovely backsplash, new stainless steel fixtures, lighting for underneath the kitchen cabinets, and pendant lighting for the island, and it's all absolutely gorgeous! They also did new floors for me in my office. I had carpet before that just couldn't get clean anymore. They installed this wonderful product that has a wood-like finish called Karndean. It's not laminate, it's a vinyl product, and it's just incredible! I'm in real estate, and I've used Carpet Broker on many occasions for carpeting and floors for homes I am listing. The last one I did sold immediately. I had them do new granite counters in the kitchen, stainless steel sinks and fixtures, and brand new carpeting throughout the house. All that, combined with having it repainted, made the home I listed on Sunday close on Tuesday, and close to the asking price, which is unheard of in this market! When you have someone that does the right kind of work, for the right price, and according to your needs, the result is fabulous, and the work that Carpet Broker does is gorgeous. What I particularly like about what they are doing now is one-stop shopping. They work with other vendors so that you can have not only your countertops and floors done, but appliances, electrical, and they like as well. They have a complete decorative solution, and I like that. I've recommended them before, and I will continue to do it. Laura Eisenhart more
