Previous Reviews - What Were They Smoking 3/21/2010

My wife, kids, friends and I have been to the Bibb on numerous occasions. Previous reviewers discuss "rude behavior" on the part of the wait staff. We have never observed any such behavior on the part of wait staff, management or other patrons. The Bibb is a nice, wholesome, "mom and pop" run, family oriented restaurant. The wide variety of food options should appeal to virtuall all appetites and budgets. We have marveled many times about the very reasonable prices and great value for our hard earned dollars, especially in these tough economic times! There's no way you can get even close to the "bang for your buck" at Red Lobster when comparing to the excellent value offered at The Bibb! (Another reviewer suggested that they would go to Red Lobster the next time - we have compared and Red Lobster costs easily 30% more, and at best you often get pre-packaged intitutional food that they either nuke, bake or boil). We have never had anything other than great food, and a pleasant dining experience at very reasonable prices at The Bibb. My family and I would highly recommend this place to any of our friends or family. If you want to be impressed or impress your friends, go to The Bibb! more

Definetely different... 12/18/2006

I did find the comments to be a bit on the rude side. We took my 18 year old with us and she was both insulted and humiliated by them so she lost her appetite. I was actually forwarned about this place in that it would be a fun place to go...nothing about the rude comments and swearing. I was also told it is like visiting a crabshack in Maine but it was nothing like that. Their food was very expensive and rubbery and they didn't serve you much in relation to the cost. When they did make a mistake on the amount charged for my food, they took off $2. The actual price discount was $3. Next time, I'll go to Red Lobster!!! You get more for the money. more

good food 8/20/2005

This is one of those insult the customer and see if they come back restaurants. If you’re not up for the challenge, don’t walk in the door! They have good crab (and everyone gets a bib when they enter with their name on it- well, not their name, but a silly name – our waiter was “Door Key” – get it, “Dorky”?). And their other food is good as well. more

The Bib is a true Dining Experience! 8/18/2005

The Bib restaurant cuisine is basically American, but some dishes definitely have a South of the Border flare. It's a fun place to go for birthdays, but be prepared to be insulted. The waiters and waitress dish out rude comments right and left, sometimes silly. Little ones don't quite understand, so if you're working on proper etiquette, not the place to take them right now. But it was fun and different and everyone should try it! more
