Quick and convenient Thai food 3/2/2009

I like to come here because it is conveniently located down the street from where I live. It is great to be able to get a tasty meal and do some shopping afterwards at Redmond Town Center. They are usually busy but I've never had to wait very long for a table. I also like the portions - they are reasonably priced and not oversized so that i'm too stuffed afterwards. more

Great interior 1/24/2009

I love this place out of all Thai Ginger locations in this area. The interior decor and the fact it's in Redmond Town Center just makes it a great dine out place. The prices are bit higher compare to King & I in Bellevue or smaller Mom and Pop shop, but you go for the atmosphere and service. Short walk across the mall to the new Gold Class Cinema makes a perfect evening! more

Good 7/18/2008

Good good chain for Thai food. Though if you are ever in Bellevue downtown, I'd recommend go to King & I or Chantanee. more

It's Ok 1/14/2007

Service is good, but the food is only so so. Tastes like they don't put a lot of time in to it. more

My favorite Thai restaurant 7/18/2006

I have been going to Thai Ginger for about 6 or 7 years now on a fairly regular basis. Their food is so good that I can't eat at any other Thai restaurant without wishing I was at Thai Ginger. The food always comes out fast, no matter how busy they are, and the service is very good. To top it all off, they give you a lot of food and don't charge very much for it! My boyfriend and I can go eat at this restaurant and be in and out of there in a half an hour, spending only about $15 for the two of us (we share the large dish of yellow curry fried rice). I highly recommend eating at this restaurant!! more

Great Thai treats 4/10/2006

Thai Ginger is located in Redmond Town Center, on second floor, about where Gymboree and Gap are. Their Pad Thai, veggies mixed in their coconut curry sauce are among my favorites. If you are into appetizers, their egg rolls are a must-try. if you choose to eat in, the waiting time is very reasonable, and if you call to take out, they're pretty accurate about when your food will be ready. Really yummy food, two thumbs up! more

Thai Ginger-portion smaller 4/10/2006

I just came back from Thai Ginger in Redmond, and like I remembered, the place is still very crowded during lunch, but the portion of the food is definitely different. For the two of us, we ordered, panang curry and curry fried rice. We were expecting to be full, but we were left with wanting to eat more food! Maybe I'm just a big eater, but I think they could afford to give us just a little more. As for the food, still pretty good as I remembered it to be, I only wish the portions were bigger. more

Thai Ginger - Thumbs Up! 3/20/2006

Our new local favorite Thai place is Thai Ginger at the Redmond Town Center. I've actually been to Thailand so I have eaten authentic Thai food and this restaurant is much more authentic than so many others out there. We love eating here! Plus it is very family friendly, which is a bonus for us and our 13 month old son. :) They really cater to families which is why (in addition to the delicious food) we will keep coming back for more. more

Thai Me Up! 3/19/2006

Good variety of Thai food here. Service is fast and good. Great location on the upstairs in Redmond Town Center. Food is great for takeout also. Serving sizes are large and satisfying. Great that you can specify your level of spiciness. I highly recommend trying the Phad Thai, which is pretty good here. Get it spicy! more

Not Bad, for Thai 3/18/2006

Not a bad place for Thai food, and not terribly expensive. I'm a big fan of Pad Thai, so I always judge a Thai restaurant by it's Pad Thai. It's pretty ok here, so it's worth a try. Conveniently located in Redmond Town Center as well, so good on a shopping trip. Also, they are pretty good about takeout here also, so if you call ahead, you can bring dinner home! more

Great Thai to Dollar Ratio 3/9/2006

I've tried many of the Thai restaurants in Redmond, and I think that the only one I like better than Thai Ginger is Typhoon, but Typhoon is significantly more expensive. That said, if you are looking for a tasty reasonably priced Thai lunch near the Redmond Town Center, you should try Thai Ginger. Giddy-up. more

If you have to eat in Redmond Town Center, eat here 12/21/2005

This is your best option for a decent meal in Redmond Town Center. This conclusion was arrived at after working in RTC for a year and eating many many lunches there. The service is quick during lunch time and the food is good. I really like the fried rice. The ambience is pleasant as well, although it does get really crowded at lunch. more

Try the vegetable curry... 12/4/2005

It's really tasty and has tofu, cabbage, bamboo shoots, carrots, and other delicious veggies in mixed in their mild coconut curry sauce. I usually stop in after shopping (it's conveniently located on the second floor of the Redmond Town Center) and it does get busy, but I've never had to wait too long. The Garlic Prawns are also a favorite of mine. more

Good Food, Fast Service, Good Location, Nice Ambiance 9/6/2005

Your order gets to you quick. The wide rice noodles (found in many dishes) are perfect with a slight chewy texture. Some restaurants serve the noodles more cooked making them (still good) but with less body. The ambiance exotic and open; however, it can be noisy when they are super busy. Thai Ginger is located right in Redmond Town Center and is a good place to stop after shopping, before a movie or even for lunch. There can be a wait sometimes during the busiest eating hours, so plan ahead. The one thing I would like to see different here is an increase in their limited selection of teas. more

Very fresh thai food 8/17/2005

This spot is always crowded, and for good reason. The food is fresh, especially the veggies. Very crisp, and look like they were fresh-picked that morning. Tables are very close together, though, so plan on hearing every detail of your neighbors' conversations! more

Great fast lunch place! 10/1/2004

If you are in Redmond Town Center and want some good thai lunch food i recommed this place. It is very busy at lunch time but they are fast. I recommend their thai soups. more
