Fit to be Thai'd - Warm food COLD atmosphere 2/26/2009

Ordered some appetizers and some Thai beer. Seemed to take forever and we were only one of three groups in the restaurant. Food was served hot beer was cold and so was the female server. We were enjoying our meal she came to our table to remove our food. I still had food in my mouth! Later we found we were not welcome after sitting and eating for two hours. In fact one of the people in the restaurant advised us the table we were at was reserved. We weren't even finished! She didn't even offer to move us to another table! There were several other tables open as we were only joined by two additional groups while we were there. I was very surprised. We had paid our meal with more than 18% tip and received incorrect change. The food may have been good but I can't say enough of how rude the server was. Pros: Beer was cold Cons: Service was appaling more

Good Pad Thai 9/13/2006

I've never had anything at Thai Palace that I didn't like. I love the Pad Thai and the prices aren't bad, too. Service is spotty but never awful. I think this is much better than Thai Basil. Pros: Good location Cons: Parking sometimes more

Service lacking, food is great 10/31/2005

If you don't mind feeling like the waitstaff don't really care that you're there, this place would deserve an excellent rating. However, the food is great! The curries are excellent, and salads are unique and flavorful. Pad thai is okay, not really that interesting. Lunch is a better deal; expensive curries. Pros: Prawn curry, extensive menu Cons: Service more

Authentic Thai cuisine 6/15/2004

This is my favorite Thai restuarant in Sacramento, next to Amarin Thai Cuisine. Thai Palance has awesome Pad Ke Mao (misspelled? Sorry...) Their Pad Thai is also wonderful. They also have coconut ice crream, the perfect conclusion to a spicey meal. Sometimes the service is a bit slow, other times it's excellent. Still, it's worth the wait. I've never been disappointed here. Pros: Noodle dishes, Rice dishes, Spicey dishes more
