We have only been to the Fontaine location, but have enjoyed everything we've tried there. Try the coconut milk and chicken soup (tom ka gai or kai tom ga), which is richly flavored with galanga root and lemongrass. wonderful! more

Thai '99 4/13/2006

In my husband's words, Thai '99 "is frickin' ridiculously good!" Our favorite items on the menu include the Red Curry with Chicken and Garlic Pork. They have a scale of hotness for their foods, from Mild to Native Thai! I can't even begin to imagine how hot that would be because "Medium Plus" is extremely spicy!!! The service is really friendly and this is a very popular restaurant. more

I have only been to the Fontaine location of Thai 99, but I enjoyed it. I thought the food was good, with plenty of options. I also thought it tasted pretty good, too! It is owned by a family, and they seemed to be very friendly. Parking can be a bit rough, because their lot is small, and I've seen lots of people actually park across the street in front of houses, taking those houses' parking spots. While I would NOT suggest taking resident's parking spots, if you are coming here as a group, try to take as few cars as possible so you can get a spot. more

Great Thai Food 3/22/2006

This place has some of the best Thai Food that I have had in the area, they have great lunch specials and sometime the food can be a little more spicy than the last time when I ask for extra spicy. But the food and the service is excellent, I would recommend this place for regular lunch trips. They even have a bar that makes some great drinks. more
