I had my first jump last Wednesday! I am in LOVE. It was probably the best experience I could ask for. Immediately, when we walked in we were warmly greeted and had smiles and laughs from the crew. I didn't expect to be so calm and alert. I blame the vibe of the place and people. What a wonderful place and crew they have =D more

Where to start... they cancelled the jump on us 2 times, one of which is because they did not have a pilot and did not bother sending an email or calling everyone that had signed up in our group. When we finally got them to keep the appt time they spread our then group of 3 over 5.5 hr time period and kept putting people in front of us. The kicker to the whole thing was that we had prepaid through Tippr and Tx skydiving sent us a long email with all the rules and explained the $12 fuel surcharge which was not a big deal but when we arrived the informed us that we owed $25 more dollars because we exceeded the 225 lb weight limit. We are not obese people mind you, my brother and I are very tall and in shape people and just happen to be over the limit... supposedly. The scale they use is off by 6 lbs. Each person weighed themselves on different scales and each person was 6 lbs heavier upon arriving at the location. I did not realized gravity was more over there in order for them to charge an extra amount. When we told them that they did not notify us of the charge Cindy states that she did in the email. We would have left but since we prepaid we would have lost the money we paid the extra amount hoping to deal with it later. I later emailed the original email back to Cindy and there was not mention of the extra charge and she played it off as if I was to blame for somehow erasing that supposed line. The people are horrible to deal with so save yourself some money and 5.5 hrs and go to San Marcos where you can jump with your friends at one time. more

I loved it! This was my first time skydiving, so I don't have any other experience to compare it to. Overall, I think that the teachers were very respectful and helpful, and my jumpmaster was great. Skydiving is pretty expensive, but I definitely plan on doing it again and will recommend Texas Skydiving to my friends. more

I just want to thank everybody at your facility! We jumped this past Saturday for our bachelor/bachelorette parties and we had an AWESOME time! Everybody was so nice especially James and Austin. When me and my friend arrived, he was origionally planning on getting a video. We paid, got our 411 on skydiving then found out we were going to have to jump at seperate times. Which we didn't want to do, yall allowed for us to go at the same time and were nice enough to refund my friend for his video since he didn't get it. I was 100% comfortable for my first jump and the laid-back atmosphere added to that, thanks so much for my first skydiving experience! more

Thank you for everything! Having the life sucked out of me by corporate IT for the past 9 years, serving in the Army before that and barely making ends meet before that almost pushed me to give up... Then my brother called to tell me he was going skydiving. My plan was to do a tandem jump and before I knew it, I was in the solo freefall class. Today, I jumped! You guys showed me how to jump and were there by my side on the way down. It was the single best moment of my entire life, hands down. I can't thank you enough. more

I just recently finnished my AFF course at Texas Skydiving Center (also known as Austin Skydiving Center). After talking to many people in the sport who jump at many different places, I am happy I learned here. Great staff, excellent location for jumping. They have a nice large field, very few power lines, plenty of room to land. Give it a shot! more
