Texas Nissan of Grapevine

First let me say that I think the sales people write a fair amount of the positive (all 5 star) reviews for Texas Nissan on this site and others. Way to go Rico!\r \r Second because enough real customers have provided reviews I went into the process prepared. And feel like we got a fair deal. They made some money, I didn't waste a day/weekend playing the game. And we do like their service department from previous experience.\r \r There are plenty of sites to help you with the new car buying process so do your research:\r - know the price range the car sells for\r - don't pay for features you don't want, there will be another dealership that has just the car you want\r - Get approved ahead of time for 3rd party financing (but don't tell them until after the car price has been finalized); then you can take or leave their financing terms.\r - I told them upfront I read everything and I did. \r - Take a cheat sheet with you so you know what your payments should be; I caught a mistake in the terms\r - You have to be dligent with the trade-in as well. Know what it is worth. (This is where I slipped up some).\r \r I admit I am not the typical customer, and the sales people accomodated me fairly well. Overall it was a positive experience. I am sure I could have played ""hard ball"" and saved another $500 to $1000 between the final price and trade-in allowance but it was close enough.\r \r Last thought their parent company owns many dealerships in the area (like the Toyota dealership across the street). So just avoiding Texas Nissan is not the answer. You have to be prepared going into this process or buy from a ""no haggle"" dealership like Car Max. more

I'm not sure why the previous post gave Texas Nissan of Grapevine such negative remarks. I went during a busy weekend yet I still received great service from all the staffs. Sean Briggs, the New Vehicle Manager, helped us tremendously with our buying process. We were indecisive of which color and model type to get but thankfully, Sean was kindly patience and professional enough to knock down our doubts and dilemmas. After hours of test driving different car models, we?ve decided to purchase the new silver 2010 Nissan 370Z! It was such a hassle-free experience for the both of us and I?m so grateful we came to Texas Nissan of Grapevine! I owe my friend a favor for referring me to such an awesome place. Thank you for getting me the best deal for my money, Texas Nissan of Grapevine! more

Be VERY careful when you buy from this dealership. My sister and brother in law purchased a car from them and have had nothing but a HORRIBLE experience. Started off with their website advertising vehicles on the site for one price and when you get there, the vehicle is a higher price because they added THOUSANDS of dollars worth of OPTIONAL equipment. The first car was of course ""just sold"" so they had to look at another vehicle which was of course more expensive. Financing was a total scam. They were told they could only secure financing through one place and ironically my sister just got a letter in the mail advising her of her dealership approval through Chase. (they didn't tell my sister about that one). Turns out they had my sister finance at a higher interest rate than what Chase was offering. (dealer gets more of a kick back for the customer signing on a higher rate). In anycase.....FALSE ADVERTISING ON THEIR WEBSITE!!! BEWARE! They do anything to get you in. GET YOUR OWN PREAPPROVAL BEFORE GOING THERE AND DON'T LET THE DEALERSHIP OFFER YOU FINANCING. more

Every time I visited Ronnie, He knew exactly what I wanted to drink and how I liked it without me saying anything. Overall, this really was a terrific experience!!! more

My salesman, Rico, was absoluely awesome! He and others spent a long time with my wife explaining all of the options so she understood everything nd fealt comfortable with her nw car! Very nice job! more
