Moving is stressful, and my last move was the beyond stressful. It was supposed to be easy, from a one bedroom in the same complex to a big two bedroom. Nope. The two bedroom smelled like William Morris himself lived there for the last 56 years. There was NO WAY I was living in that place, no matter what kind of cleaning they tried to do. Texas Brothers Moving moved me, not once but twice. I had zero problems scheduling, and the prices were MUCH better than other companies I have used in the past. The 3 men arrived EARLY, and worked with a smile. On the second move, it was a bit more tricky, but again, they showed up early ready to work. They were everything I could ask for, making sure they wrapped all furniture, and were careful with our valuables. You also get a 3% discount for cash payment vs credit card. Without a doubt would recommend these guys to anyone! more

I was just looking for movers that will offer the cheapest rate for my situation. Many companies only allowed 3 hour minimum but I didn't need 3 whole hours. I was moving out of a small 575 sq foot one bedroom apartment to another 1 bedroom apartment less than a mile away and felt that the rates were too high. Texas Brothers Moving was serious about my business even though their rate was higher than the other company I was looking at. I'm glad that Justin talked me out of going with the other company. He made sure I was well informed about them and even had me check BBB on the phone with him to check out their ratings and customer complaints. Sure enough, it was a bad idea to move forward with that company. I guess it's true that you pay for what you get! What I respected about Justin is that he didn't even badmouth his other competitors. He simply wanted to inform me in order to make the best right decision. I was able to get 1/2 off the gas surcharge since I told him I was literally only moving down the street. They were pretty efficient and fast, especially for having to go up 3 flights of stairs.They'll call and let you know when they are on their way, start wrapping fragile items in blankets and taping drawers with saran wrap. Only complaint that I have is that they left my wall mirror in the truck, but they found it the next day and had someone drive it out to me. I would recommend them and use them for my future moves again. more

To recap: Texas Brothers Moving moved me into their storage warehouse while I was waiting on my new home to close. The service during the move was very good. Unfortunately, they stacked one of my paintings incorrectly and it was damaged in storage. Even though they were under no contractual obligation to do so, they then picked up the painting and sent to it an art restorer, at their own cost. The restorer fixed the painting perfectly. It actually looks better than it used to, (I think she cleaned it slightly as well as fixing the damage). I would recommend this business to anyone. What separates a good business from a great one is not someone who doesn't make mistakes, but a company like Texas Brothers who fixes a situation when it goes wrong. Great job guys! more

I used Texas Brothers Moving recently for my move from Dallas to Austin. I received quotes from about 4 or 5 different companies, and while they weren`t the cheapest, we`ve had a bad experience before chasing a low price, so we did our homework and chose Texas Brothers. Their pricing is very reasonable and the quality of movers they employ was fantastic. They did what they said they were going to do, arrived when they said they were going to arrive and not a thing was broken. The movers were polite, professional and the crew led by Jonathan were as good as it gets. I highly recommend Texas Brothers Moving if you are relocating within Texas. more

I have never used a moving company before, and wasn't sure what to expect. But the crew who showed up with Texas Brothers Moving (10 minutes early) led by Jonathan, put ALL my fears to rest. Jon did a quick walk-through of the house and asked a couple of questions before he gave his instructions to the other crew members (all before ""logging in"" their start time). They were quick and VERY professional in their work. All the furniture was wrapped either in blankets or plastic wrap. We were moving to Sherman (a 1-1/2 hour drive) and they arrived at the new house promptly and unloaded very quickly. All I had to do was stand at the door and direct them to which room to put the furniture in, and where I wanted it placed. I had no damage at all, to any of my furniture, or any of the boxed materials. I would definitely recommend Texas Brothers Moving to any of my friends or family. more

Dear Texas Brothers Moving: As always, I want to express my genuine thanks and appreciation to Texas Brothers Moving for the swift and professional move the company provides. I thought about it this morning and personally Texas Brothers Moving has moved me three times in the last two years, my company has used them twice just in this year alone and three people here in the office have used the company. I think just that repeat business alone speaks volumes to the excellent job you are doing. Please convey my sincere appreciation to Crew Leader Anthony and his team for the fine job they did this morning. One of my top pet peeves is dealing with people who are not prompt; Anthony was right on time and he and the guys started to work immediately. I thought I was going to get some work done myself while waiting for them to load the truck, but they finished before I could even start in earnest! Upon arrival at our offices, the loading dock was jammed with trucks. Anthony created a solution by unloading in our front parking lot. They had to walk a bit, but it was much faster than waiting for the jam to clear. I love initiative and people who solve problems on their own. Again, thanks and appreciation to all your team.
