I have bought several pieces of furniture from Terrys/Ivan Smith furniture in the past. I recently purchased some bedroom furniture, when it arrived in unopened intact boxes it was all damaged. I took it back to a rude manager who only wanted to refund my money and told me everything they get in is damage, as if I should accept it. I know nothing is perfect and minor flaws are overlooked, but this was major flaws. They reordered and a week later received furniture that was in worse shape than the first. We picked between both damage sets and the floor model to get me a set. They did give a $25 at first in store credit, then when I said ""no"" because I will never buy another item from them they credited my card. The sales people were very nice and apologetic. The manager was rude, acteed as if I should just accept this cheap overpriced damaged imported junk. I recommend no one do business with the place, drive to Dallas but avoid Ivan Smiths Furniture. I called their headquarters, was told a district mgr. would contact me. Never heard from him. This manager needs to be fired and they need to buy from suppliers that have more quality conttrol.
