The salad was umimaginative. The fish was served dried out. Place has no ambience, it is extremely noisy with it's high wood ceilings and lack of decor creating a lot of annoying ...

Love It!! 7/1/2011

Great atmosphere, great food. I love to eat in the outdoor patio area. Last time I had a delicious salmon dish with some red wine, and I can't wait to go back and try the shrimp that my wife got next time! more

A lot of hype... 2/27/2006

Ohhh I dont know if I just came here on a bad day...both times...or what, but I didn't love this place like so many others have. I mean, its good, but so are a lot of places and Taps is overpriced. They have a fun menu, with great choices. I heard they have a great brunch on Sundays. You know, I think what might have really turned me off, interestingly so...is that when I ordered an iced tea, the waitress asked "Regular or Peach"...I usually always get regular, so I thought I would go for something different and ordered peach. Didnt realize that this peach tea was going to cost me $8!!!! Left a bad taste in my mouth, literally. more

Food is spectacular 12/30/2005

The food here is amazing. You can order an entrée and 2 side dishes to share with another person. This will be able to fill you, plus the price. The food here is a bit pricey, but if you do share with a friend or date, it does make it a bit more manageable. The only problem is that i hope that both people agree on the entrée. If you have a moment, you need to try the brunch buffet on Sundays. Here you can get the food all you can eat, and 4 free beers. And their beers are potent. more

EXCELLENT FOOD, but a bit pricey 10/22/2005

I loved Taps, the first day I went to eat there. They have the best food I have ever eaten. I enjoyed the atmosphere. It was quiet, with dim lighting, yet, there was a relaxed feeling to it as well. It did not feel like we couldn't talk. It was very comfortable. Being on the pricey side, it was nice to go with someone, split and entrée, and then get a separate soup or salad. If your partner eats more than you, then it may leave them a bit hungry. I can't tell you what is my favorite, because everything that I have eaten there thus far, is quiet tasty. I also have had an opportunity to go to the buffet. 3 free beers...and all you can eat. AMAZING! more

An amazing taste 8/22/2005

The best thing to do when you go with a friend or date, order 1 main entrée and 2 side dishes. It's a great way to save money and still experience the wonderful food at Taps. The Cesar salad is delicious. They have a shrimp pasta dish that is to die for. Thinking about it makes my mouth water. Again, it is a little pricey, but you are paying for the quality. It's worth it!!! more
