Tanika is truly amazing,I feel like I have known her for years.My hair looks fabulous, I have gotten stopped by 4people when I left her place telling me how beautiful my hair is. Honestly I didn't even want to leave her place she made me feel so comfortable and explained every detail to me. more

I look 10 years younger (smile) 4/18/2013

I was so impressed by my daughter's weave that I felt that I should have a consultation with Tanika concerning my issues with my hair. I have thinning hair and was tired of wigs, etc. I felt that I could truely trust Tanika to help me solve my problem and come up with a style that would suit me, and so she did. She is a master in her craft and I will diffinitely recommend Tanika to family and friends. She also explains everything to you which is so important and reassuring. more

My weave makes the men all pause 12/2/2012

I came across Tanika's handiwork through my sister. My sister's weave was so undetectable that I just had to get my own. Tanika is always ready for your appointment with her tools set up and ready. She walks me through entire processes from prepping to after care. She listens to my wants and calms my fears. I always leave her studio with a weave I can't wait to show off. I'm proud to call Tanika my stylist. more

Amazing!! My search is over!! 9/22/2012

I have been a client of Tanika for over a year. I have had extensions for over 8 years, and have never been happy. That is until I found Tanika. She is amazing! She is professional, on time, thorough, and my hair always comes out fabulous. I am soo happy I found her. I will never trust anyone else with my hair. Tanika understands me and was amazing when she did my hair for my wedding, I was a bridezilla!!!!  My search is finally over, thank you Tanika! more

The women that wrote the review below is a low class racist 2/18/2012

The person that's writing this review (below my review )regarding Tanika sounds like She personally hates Tanika. And what a shame. I mentioned this review to Tanika and Tanika said that she was getting picked on by a women upstairs which happens to be a white women, and the day that, that review was posted her cable wire to her Internet and business telephone line was cut. If you personally saw the salon you would know for sure this women was lying and she sounds like a huge racist. After numerous attempts(calling the police, cutting Tanika's sign off ?her gate, calling building inspectors on Tanika commercial rental and cutting Tanika's cable wire) made by this women to get Tanika out of her building, Tanika has decided to relocate the salon. I ask Tanika how she felt about the women ?and her evil attempts to take down her business. Tanika said it upsets her however God has humbled her heart. Tanika is such a good person. Never believe what you haven't seen or witness for yourself. God Bless. ? more

WHAT A DUMP (and dangerously illegal too)!!! 2/7/2012

This dump is in an illegal cellar boiler room of a residential only SRO. Tanika is a low class loser trying to bilk clients out of $$$$ (having only gotten her license a few months ago). Unable to get a REAL commercial space she has resorted to unsafe illegal space and tries hard to maintain the idea that this is ok! NOT OK. FDNY has already evacuated them twice, there is an outstanding eviction order on her, she now locks herself in and still is living in a dreamland about ""her salon"" WHAT A DUMP! WHAT AN IDIOT! STAY AWAY from this MESS!!! more

I recently went to Tanika after reading great reviws on her! I was so glad, I decided to go. Not only was it easy to make an appointment with her, but she took me right away. I got there over an hour early and she met with me, took her time to talk with me, and asked me if I had any questions. Her caring personality, and care for her clients, reassured me. Right then and there I booked an appointment for a later date, and I am confident that she will be great! I will keep you all posted! more
