Tan Your Moon

I have been tanning for many years, I bought a package which I felt was pretty expensive but because everyone was so friendly and the place seemed clean that it would be okay. When I lived in TX they had really good beds but of course the cost was more, so I figure the same with this one. (The place was nice and on the expensive side) so the beds must be really good and I would get a nice golden tan. Well, after a few tans. I seen no change ( I am one that tans very easy, I am a Latina) so, I figured well I will upgrade to a better bed and might see a better result. Ended up spending over $100.00 + for a month and let me tell you. It was NOT worth it at all. I am so mad that I wasted my money. It was a waste of month, money and time. I can barely tell I have been tanning, and I went almost every day. I had even said something to the girls at the front, of course they tell me, well the bulbs are due to be changed after after saying something a few times and telling them they need to say something to the owner, they said well he can offer you 20% if I got another package, thats all he can do.......Really? I need to spend another $100.00 + for what? I am VERY uphappy and feel as if I just gave $100 + away. As I was in a few times I had heard other women complain about the same thing. if you know your bulbs are not producing, then you need to lower your prices. I will never go back to them...It was a waste of my hard earned money. more

This place is a joke! They are way over priced. The owner made it seem like if I signed a contract for them to just withdraw money monthly for my tanning it would be cheaper than to purchase a year at a time. He said if I ever decided to Cancle it... Its No big deal... So I got sick of paying $60 a month after hearing friends of mine say they are paying $30 for a way nicer place right across the street. I called to Cancle they told me I had to send in a certified letter to Cancle a tanning package!! REALLY? and that even after they receive the letter they still withdraw $60 the following month! I have a feeling they do the certified letter thing bc they can just say that Dave the owner wasn't there to sign for it and keep withdrawing money!! This place is just out for your money!! more

Purchased a package as a gift to my daughter. Upon leaving, I asked for something to put in her card as it was a gift. The clerk started to give me a business card but another girl found a real "gift card" and handed it to me to fill out for my card. I was told we didn't need a gift card, and had purchased packages at Christmas that never required an actual card either. Manager would not honor the package which was entered under my daughter's name with the package purchased since she did not have a gift card to present. I threw it away, since I was told it was unnecessary! Manager was extremely rude to my daughter and me as well. I gave them the date of the purchase and canceled check and asked for my money back. Rather than do the right thing, he berated me for "losing" the gift card and told me he was done! LOTS of choices in tanning salons. I agree with previous comments. Poorly run, rude and unprofessional. Choose another salon! more

Tan Your Moon is a great little tanning salon. They are a small business but offer great rates and packages. They have good hours and their staff is very helpful and friendly. They are also at at great location off of 81st and Memorial. They have a few types of beds, as well as a great selection of products. more

Tan Your Moon is a good value for the money, if you're into tanning regularly. As for me, I've only been there a couple of times (just to be not so lily white). The more you use it, the better deal they'll give you. But their beds are clean & safe. more

I went to get my skin tanning last week and I 'm very happy with their great job. At first, I thought it would take hours and hours. But it took me just one hour. that's very good. Also, I did not get allergy from tanning. The price is reasonable and they are nice people there. more
