Nice well made classic clothes but the prices start high. You can find a nice dress here for that special occasion or good business suits. You can save money if you wait till the sale where prices go down to 70% off. Also there is an outlet in Long Island. Recently purchased a great silk dress for under $50 on sale, regular price was about $150!! Petites are available on the second floor in the Second Ave store. There is a bigger selection at the Madison Avenue store which also has an adjoining men's store and Talbots kids on the lower level. Salespeople are helpful and will bring you clothes into the dressing room if needed. Return policy is excellent.
