I don't eat at Taco Bell often, but every now and then I don't mind it. It's a quick, cheap Mexican food fix for me. My husband, on the other hand, would probably eat there several times a week! One of the things that I love about it is that I can eat there and feel really full for only $2-3, but I just stick to standard things like the tacos, tostados, or bean burrito. My husband enjoys some of the "bigger" items like the grilled stuffed burritos, the gorditas, or the Mexican pizza, so it's a bit pricier when we both eat there, but still affordable.
I like this location because there is a Long John Silver's in the same location. My daughter is two and nothing at Taco Bell really appeals to her, but she likes the chicken planks from Long John Silver's, so I can get her a kid's meal from there and get my Taco Bell fix at the same time. You can order from both places at one time.
This location is VERY convenient because it's sandwiched between the Super Walmart, Katy Mills Mall, and Toys R Us. Because of this, it's always packed. I have found that their turnaround time for getting food out to you is super fast, even when they are really busy. The employees are not overly friendly, but they are pleasant. The cleanliness of this location is hit or miss. It is fairly new, so all of the tables and chairs are in great shape. For the most part, when I have gone, they do a decent job of keeping things clean, but yesterday there was a table that was full of trash when we got there and it was still that way when we left. When this happens, it knocks out a table where people can sit and considering how crowded they are, they can't afford for this to happen. Their trashcans were also stuffed to the point of overflow yesterday (and this is a typical occurrence). I know they're busy, but I think cleanliness is very important to overall impression, and I feel that they could make this more of a priority for their employees. If they don't have enough employees to handle the crowds and keep the restaurant clean, perhaps they should consider hiring a few more!
