This is the second time we have used System Pavers. They did the top part of our drive (we live on a hill), which was 3500 sq. ft. a few years ago. The drive has held up and stayed beautiful, so when it came time to do the slope of our drive (4500 sq. ft.) we called them back out. The contractor (Jose) and crew were awesome. They went way above and beyond to make sure the work was of the highest qualify. We had a standing paver edge done along our drive. Jose suggested and added a concrete support (330 linear feet) at his own expense to make sure the edge would never come loose. I can't say enough praise for this crew. They even found a broken water pipe on the property and came back the day after the job was completed and repaired it at no cost. We plan to do some additional improvements to our property in the future and will not hesitate to call System Pavers for the stonework. more

We contacted System Pavers because the previous homeowners used them to pave the small driveway, front porch and side run. We needed to get our patio redone and decided to continue the pattern, uninterrupted, throughout the entire patio and around to the small path in the side yard of our house. The initial salesperson who came to give us the estimate was a little overzealous and gave us some misinformation about the pricing (3 thousand dollars in financing costs were not added to the original estimate), transferring the warranty for the previous owner's work (he said we could; we couldn't) and there was a change in the way they ordered the pavers for the pattern we wanted which he did not communicate (this resulted in the back patio and side path not matching the previous work.) When I saw my new work did not match the old work, I alerted the site contact, who alerted the job foreman just before the pavers were permanently set. They had to pluck out a bunch of bricks, order new ones and extend the job an extra day. I relay all of this to say, despite the setbacks, inconveniences and miscommunications, I would still recommend this company. The costumer service was impeccable (thanks, Job Supervisor Harel) and the work crew really busted their butts to give us a beautiful new patio that we were happy with in just 4 days. We live in a neighborhood on a hill and our old concrete patio was cracked and sloped downward. The crew tore out the concrete, leveled the ground and laid the pavers evenly and beautifully. It rained, and the water drained properly with no pooling and we now have a continuous and beautiful paver system that goes around the entire house and will definitely add to value to our home. Thanks to the great work of System Pavers, I now have a fabulous outdoor room and beautiful garden path. If you're considering using this company, do it. They'll work with you to make sure you're getting what you want and, if any of those inevitable mistakes happen, they'll redo the job until you are satisfied. more

We selected System Pavers because they did a great job on a driveway in our neighborhood, and we were not disappointed. From our initial contact with Louis, the design consultant, to our final walkthrough with Terry, the project supervisor, we received efficient, courteous, and professional treatment. The men who did the actual work were polite, tidy, and worked very efficiently. We were told the project would take a week - it took 2 days. Louis Mangene, the Design Consultant for System Pavers, was extremely knowledgeable about the product, the process, and procedures used to complete the project. He was very helpful in recommending the type and color of pavers to blend in with our flagstone steps and spa deck in our backyard. he did an excellent job in explaining exactly each step of the project. He was spot on with every step. The crew who worked on the project were hardworking and professional. Harrel Carmen, the Design Consultant who oversaw the project was excellent as well. My husband and I had our front lawn replaced with paving stones by System Pavers of Santa Ana on July 21, 2011. We are totally delighted with the finished job! When people began stumbling on my sinking pavers near my front door, I knew it was time to get serious about fixing the problem. I had a local contractor install about 2700 square feet of pavers 7 years ago and watched them sink, one-by-one, throughout the years. I called System Pavers to see if they could fix the problem and their construction boss, Tom Shibuta, inspected the job and detailed for me why it had to be redone from scratch.\r Pavers nead excavation and road base before the sand is applied. The first contractor simply put sand on top of existing dirt and the resulting degradation of the job was only too predictable.\r Of course, I wasn't happy to learn that I would have to start from scratch and commit a large amount of money, but I decided that I would get the job done right this time. I got a competitive bid from a smaller company, and indeed it was lower than System Pavers by about 5%. However, I was impressed with the folks I contacted at System and particularly by their 25-year warranty.\r System Pavers not only came up with a beautiful new design that is far superior to the previous one I had, they also completely re-graded the driveway and patio and installed essential drains that the prior contractor hadn't even recommended.\r Now every time I'm out front, people driving by stop to ask questions or comment on how beautiful the job looks.\r Having done this twice now, I am comfortable with recommending System Pavers who are quick, professional, creative and really good at what they do. I would caution against going ""low bid"" on this kind of job. I did that the first time and ended up paying twice for the same large job. I wish I had used System Pavers the first time around. I doubt I would have ever had to do the job over. more
