Phoned Dr. Susini office this morning to request and appointment for my wife. They asked for information but when it came to her Social Security number, I told her they don't need that information. I explained that with all the computer hacking and identity theft, It is not recommended to give out your SS number. She replied that she couldn't make an appointment without the number because she needs it for the insurance. I've personally been to 6 different doctors in the last two months and none took issue with not supplying my SSA number. I explained to the girl that we have an insurance card and identification but said she can't make the appointment without the number period. I guess the doctor has more patients than he needs and just doesn't need new patients or he doesn't care about the privacy and safety issues of individuals. He needs to have his office people move into the current world and respect who are trying to protect themselves. more

Ok first of all I went to High school up in Iowa so anyways back in High School I severly damaged the cartillige in my knee cap after a bad fall. Long story short I went on physical therapy for 6 months to pretty much relearn how to use it. I moved here to AZ because I grew up here in H.C/S.V area and I didnt move to Iowa until 7th grade. My knee started acting up making a crunching sound when I bent it all the way and swelled really bad (I was a waitress so on my feet all the time) and I knew it was the cartilige pieces moving around. My primary dr told me that I would have to see a bone specialist (Dr. Susini) and I did. FIRST OF ALL the receptionist put me on hold for 30 minutes and then was completly rude, when I get to my appointment I waited an hour and a half and the office was dead as could be!!!!! I mean noone came out and noone went in for visits seriously thats B.S.! When I finally get to see Dr. Susini he was very short with me in his tone of voice. I told him I was unable to bend my knee so my calf reached all the way to my thigh like he asked and he told me to lay down and let him move my leg around so he could see my range of motion and when I did he FORCED my knee to bend so he did what he asked (made my calf touch my thigh) we heard a loud ""crunch"" sound and I burst into to tears crying and all he said was oh that can't be good and ordered PT and the next day my knee swelled up double in size......So there it is the cold hard truth FIND A BETTER DR!!! Dr. Susini IS A JOKE!!!!! I should of questioned his practice because he clearly doesn't care about his patients!! more

While the doctor himself is fantastic, great bedside manner, kind and knowledgeble, his office staff are rude and abrupt. Not exactly the kind of people you want to see when you are going for a broken bone or pain in your joint. more
