Sure, the wait staff may be less than attentive, but you'll find that you don't really need them to be. The food is made right in front of you, then it is placed on a sushi racetrack under plastic covers, it goes round and round, and you pluck off the ones you want to eat. Most plates are $1.50-$2.50. Then when you're done, you grab a waiter and he counts the number of plates you have, and you are billed according to that. Amazingly efficient! If you are worried about the freshness of the food on the track, ask one of the chefs in the center to make you some fresh, and they hand it right to you. It is a fabulous first sushi experience. This restaurant has the absolute worst service I have ever encountered. I get through to my cell phone company in less time than it takes to put through a sushi order. It's too bad, the sushi, while basic, is not bad. The service, however, makes this restaurant experience one to pass on and this is on multiple visits. I can't stress enough how bad the service was and when asked about it the sushi chef blew us off. I would recommend going only if you have incredible patience. One of the only places to get good sushi and spend less than $20 bucks for 2 people. The food is on a conveyor belt, so your selection is great and fast...if you don't see something you want, just ask and they'll make it right up for you. I love this place! The sushi is fresh and fast. On top of that, the prices are extremely reasonable. My husband and I go at least 2 times per week. At times, service can be slow, but just maybe because they're a little under-staffed. I gave it a 9 because of the service, otherwise, I'd give them a 10 and recommend this place to anyone.
