I was moving out of my condo and on the last day scheduled the carpets to be cleaned. I schuled Surf City because of the add (3 areas $69.95). The guy arrived and said I have to pay $200 extra for ""spot treatment."" I only had normal wear and tear on the stairs and one stain in a bedroom. I didn't call because my carpets were clean, I called because they were dirty!!!!!!! I asked to speak to the owner/supervisor. The owner called me and said I lied and never told him about the stains (of course I did that's why they are being cleaned!). He called me a horrible person for wasting his time. Hello, my carpets arn't clean feeling is mutual! Highway Robbery!!!!!!!!!! Snake! more

I liked that these guys were on time and were professional looking. Two young guys showed up that looked clean and didn't smell of smoke. The guys looked a little young but one of them had been cleaning carpets for 7 years. At first I thought I was getting some kids that didn't know what they were doing but when they were all done my carpets have never looked as good and it took 3 hours for it to dry, just like they said. I gave them 5 stars because they really did a great job with everything. 1. Answered the phone when I called 2. Arrived on time 3. Professional looking 4. The price was fair 5. The finish job looked great and it still looks great 6 months later. The reason that I am writing this is because they sent me a reminder letter that said it has been 6 months and I looked at my carpets and they still look great. I am going to go ahead and clean my carpets again because I like to have them clean every 6 months but I could get by with out having it clean maybe for another 6 months. I would recommend surf city chem dry to my best friend! more
