Sure Cuts N More

Very bad business practices! I made an appointment for a keratin treatment and was told it would cost $195. When I went to my appointment, Donna told me that it was $250. They should have honored the price they quoted me, the price that's on their website!!! I was a fool and didn't walk out. I got the treatment. Donna gave me her business card like I will ever go back!!! They lost my business and the business of my four children. I've gone there before for expensive procedures, but their greed that day will cost them $100s of my future business! And it's so slow in there, they need all the business t hey can get! more

I've always been a bit pretentious when it came to my hair. So when the stylist I had just started using moved to Sure Cuts N More, I raised an eyebrow. To get immediately to the point, everything that I expect from a high priced salon is provided at Sure Cuts N More in Bordentown, NJ. On the phone as well as in the salon, I am treated with respect and provided with the highest quality of customer service. The interior of the salon itself is tastefully decorated and immaculate. Of course I am consistently pleased if not over the moon with my hair when I leave. If that weren't the case, I would go elsewhere. As I eluded to earlier, money is not an issue. I'm not the type of customer that comes in for a trim. I expect a coif that will turn heads. Paying a fraction of a fraction of what I'm accustomed to, is a bonus I never sought but have now become spoiled by. The best part of this salon is the level of professionalism from the staff. We've all been in that awful place where the stylists are snapping gum and squealing gossip at one another, ignoring their clients. That is something I refuse to tolerate even during one visit. I've been a loyal client of Sure Cuts N More in Bordentown for almost two years now and have always had a lovely and relaxing experience there. The stylists on staff are of the highest caliber and carry themselves as such. I feel confident when referring friends and acquaintances to this location. And being able to whisper in their ear what I pay for the style they've just complimented, makes me feel like a VIP in a exclusive club! *psst* pass it on ;-) more

I am from out of town and I needed a haircut bad! I was very impressed with the way I was greeted and taken care of from the time I arrived at Sure Cuts and more. I had a great hair cut and color done and can't believe the great prices they offer. You can't get that type of service like that for so little money. If I could afford to take a plane to NJ to get my hair cut I would! Thanks Ladies for making feel like I was special! Pros: Great Customer service more

I received a spa gift certificate for Jeanne Michel and made an appointment with a senior artist Jenny on 5/28/10, which is suppose to be a 2nd level stylist. She didn't meet me before my cut so I could show her what I didn't like about my hair. So I told her lots of layers because I don't look good in straight hair. She thinned my entire head (I'm 61) so now you can see my scalp all over. It was thin before on the top & sides now I'm thin all over. I told her I like to curl it run my fingers through it so I have height. Well I was sent out with a 20 year olds style, straight and its impossible to style. On 6/12/10 I went to Sure Cuts and Ines fixed my hair. The back of my hair had a 1 inch difference in length and the rest of my hair wasn't much better. My hair is now 2 inches shorter but at least its a beautiful haircut. Ines has over 25 years experience and she listens to what you want and gives it to you. Thank you Ines you are my hair hero. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. My sister and I took our Mom (who is legally blind) here for a trim, color & perm with Donna. It was a special treat for my Mom because she hardly goes out of the house because she is legally blind. When we came back to pick her up, we were horrified to see what was done to my Mom for $130.00. She ended up with two-tone hair, and to add insult to injury, it was evident that no one even attempted to wipe off the dye on her skin, or brush off the little strands of hair from her face, neck and shoulders. I had to ask Donna once to brush the hair off, and had to ask her TWICE to clean off the dye from my Mom's forehead, cheeks (yes, cheeks), and earlobes. After we walked my Mom to my car, I noticed a ton of red dye behind her left ear. It was obvious that Donna did not even check or wipe once behind my Mom's ears. Not only did Donna NOT apologize for not cleaning up, she was snippy with me when I talked to her. With the horrible economy and countless businesses failing, I can't fathom why service-oriented businesspeople would not strive to provide good service or take responsibility when they make a mistake (or three). There are other salons in the area and next time I will take our business elsewhere. PS: I am sitting next to my Mom on our couch while writing this review and just noticed how bad the haircut is. She has parts of her hair that are uneven, and areas that were supposed to have been shaved (behind the neck and behind the ears) but were not. I guess I'll have to correct this myself. My friend just told me about a new salon near us, so I thought I'd give it a try. I went on a whim a few weeks later and walked in. This place was nice and very clean. I only waited 10 minutes before I was in a stylist chair. Got a great cut and style. Had a pedicure while I was there too. Great service and professional people. I walked in this place for a cut and color. The girls were very nice and I was very pleased by the way my color turned out. I also had one of the best hair cuts of my life. The only problem I had was that there was about a twenty minute wait until anybody could work on me. I would reccomend booking an appointment as I do now.
