Sukee Kennel

Sadly, both of our Sukee dogs died at 8.5 yrs. of cancer. Our first died of a brain tumor, and our second died of leukemia. The first dog was a large female (110 lbs.), very athletic, and she had some hip issues but they were not debilitating ( with proper care and exercise). Our second girl was smaller (73 lbs.), no hip problems, but she had severe food allergies and immune system issues. Both dogs were very sweet ( with all people and most dogs) and responded to training very well. Intellectually, I was willing to accept the first pre- mature death as a possible anomaly, but with our second experience I would caution potential buyers to beware.\r more

My female dog also has very bad allergies. The allergies started when she was about four months old. The allergies stopped after about two months. Sukee was no help only denials. Then when she was three the allergies started again. I took her to a specialist ran tests gave her shorts but nothing has helped. She is now eight and doing well except for the allergies. I would never buy another dog from Sukee. more

Our dog is 3, she is amazing. Super friendly, never aggressive. She eats good food and gets good exercise. I'm sure I'll never have another dog as good as this one!\r \r I'd buy a dog there again! more

WE'RE ON OUR 2ND SUKEE GSD. OUR FIRST DIED OF A HEART CONDITION AT 10, HE WAS A PLEASURE EVERY DAY WE HAD HIM. #2 IS NOW 7, HE IS TALL, LONG, LEAN &VERY ACTIVE. HE IS GOOD WITH KIDS & VERY LOVING. WE HAVE ANOTHER OLDER NON- SUKEE GSD & OUR SUKEE BOY IS GREAT WITH HIM. SUKEE'S ARE NATURAL GUARDIANS WITHOUT BEING OVERLY LOUD. I loved(and always will love him) my dog from sukee kennels unfortunately after a few months of life he became allergic to just about all foods/treats, we had a biopsy done and had to put him on medicated feed for his life.\r I called jerry at sukee kennels at the beginning of this ordeal to see our best approach, This jerko** was in full denial of any knowledge of his dogs having any problems. I was not looking for a new dog or refund, just advise.\r In his short nine years my dog although good with people was very dog aggresive, and always at the vet for his paw infections, shots for allergies, hot spots, hematomas etc. \r No longer will he have to scratch himself.\r Our beloved dog ""Sukee"" died of a tumor on his spleen last week and it sucked!\r \r ****RIP Sukee 8/23/00-12/13/09**** Pros: my dog was beautiful Cons: allergies hematoma tumor vet bills more

I had 2 Sukee dogs, one had many health problems...degenerative disk disease and at 4 had cancer and died. Our second dog had such a bad tempermant that we had to return him to Sukee....HEARTBREAKING....\r Please find another kennel.... more
