Best Dive Bar in Denver! Love the anti-corporate vibe! Not a place for amateurs who need to have the fake atmosphere to enjoy themselves. This place is real, its fun, and the bar staff are fantastic! The regulars are cool young professionals who are just hanging out having a pint. And ya gotta love the music. The food has changed over the years and there are 2 restaurants inside the pub -Spices and 3 Guys Pies-offering so many yummy choices. Great place to go for Happy Hour afta work. more

The people that work this bar at night are rude and trashy. We came in at midnight only to ask if they were closing, since all the chairs were on the tables, as if they were closing. They said they weren't and that we could come in. We had just come in after a long day at work, sober and ready to have some fun. So,we ordered drinks and after playing one game of pool and went outside for a smoke, came back to find that they had finished our pool games and took our drinks. So we ordered more drinks, and were yelled at by the female server to use a coaster that she had just ""cleaned that sh*t up"". Mind you, it was only 12:45am. They aren't supposed to close till 2:00am. After enduring the painful sounds of The Insane Clown Posse on their jukebox, we ask the bartender if they would like us to cash out. She told us yes, as if our presence was destroying her life. After cashing out, my friend realized that someone in the bar had taken his backpack. When he asked the bartenders if they had seen it, it was clear that they did not care. It was strange because it was only the four of us and the three bar people in the establishment the entire time we were there. While we cashed out we were able to listen to the story of the bouncer's enthusiasm for strangling someone the prior night. They ended up closing at 1:15am, which gave us little time to go anywhere else. We will never be going there again and we will tell everyone else what a trash works there. more

If your unsure of yourself, or uptight this may not be for you. The core is hard, great movies on the 15"" TV, and the Pie is Tasty. Not a lot of White Collar traffic which is a nice change (no ancient chinese secret there). Sit back in or out and enjoy the ride, the foot traffic is spectacular from the Patio. more

I dont know whats up with this place. barstaff is extremely rude. really only have a problem on wednesdays and fridays. Barstaff, girl with tattoos, is never that friendly. always seems like a chore to get me a beer and is the type to assume that my small change was her tip. probably would have given her a buck more if she didnt directly take me change. The bartender who was the only person working there did not give me enough change back. I paid with a $50 and paid for 3 beers and one cocktail ( the total should have been $10 and I only recei ved $10 in change). I was shorted $40. When I called back to discuss the discrepency I was told that I was a lyer and it was not possible. I will never go back. They never have waitstaff and you have to go to the bar when the bartender is not smoking or talking on the phone to order your food or drink and take it back to your table. Cons: shortchanged more

The food is really good. My advice is to order it to go. The atmosphere has really changed over the years, and it's no longer a fun, friendly place to hang out and have a burger and beer. The last few times I ordered beer on draught, it tasted really awful. The wait staff is unprofessional and rude, clueless. C'mon.. you can be Punk Rock and and have manners. Pros: The food. My loser friends always insist on going to this hell-hole! I guess they're sold on the $1.00 PBR on Thursday, but let me tell you, you get what you pay for! I didn't think it was possible for PBR to taste worse, but the folks at Streets somehow made it happen! I guess they figure cleaning the feed lines on their taps would be too much work, so hell with it, feed your customers raunchy, dirty tasting beer. At least the atmosphere of obnoxiously loud punk music makes up for it, I mean it's a great place to sit next to your friends and scream conversations across the table! Plus, who doesn't love the lingering stench of years of cigarette smoke! There's nothing like getting home post Denver smoking ban and wreaking like Camel Straights...the cigarette of choice amongst the scenester crowd that has invested this place! And really, the douches that fill Streets really make it a place worth going back to! I mean it's a thing of beauty when you're ignored by the entire wait-staff because they're too busy discussing the ins and outs of scenester angst and comparing nautical star tattoos with the patrons! Which brings me to the amazing attention to detail that the bartenders and waitresses provide you at Streets! I love going out and buying dirty tasting beer then getting a attitude from the pretentious bartender with the Frankenstein neck-bolt tattoos...clearly this is a man of the world, and how dare I burden him with my pesky ""money"" and ""business!"" I give this place NO stars. My friends and I came here after seeing a show in Denver. I had only two beers during the night and was confronted by a very intoxicated girl. She threatened me about a sprite bottle. I have no idea what she was talking about. She ran up to the ONLY bouncer in a bar full of at least 300 people and told him I was threatening her. He then grabbed me and tossed me into the streets. I was shocked, and in a lot of pain. This was two nights ago, and I have since gone to the doctor. I have a concussion. I am very disappointed in the lack of experienced staffing, and awful ways of handling drunks. I have been in the bar industry for a while now, and I know what is acceptable as far as removing patrons. I was not drunk, I was not rowdy, I was simply a caught at the WRONG place at the wrong time. Please, unless you want a dirty dive bar with dangerous employees, do not go to Streets of London. There are few bars that I simply hate and this is one of them. It's full of scenesters that think their tattoos make them cool, the bartenders are rude & the beer tastes funky like the tap lines are dirty. For a similar experience, just buy some beer and sit at a bus stop...only the beer will taste good. more

Just wanted to say DJ Quid rules! For 6 months Ive been nearly every thursday night for a pint or two, some curry chips and the AWESOME music. this kid will play s*** like Peaches and Fischerspooner and find a way to mix it into Maiden, the doobie brothers, or at the drive in..... NUTS!!!! The atmosphere is lively and casual, not to mention all the fine ladies and general mish mash of devoted punks, mods, hipsters and musicians that come every week. You have to check it out! more
