I recently helped my Dad sell some of his gold ounces. I went to all the pawn shops and they all low balled me as if it were a piece of used Jewelry. We were feeling pretty hopeless until a friend of my Dad's told him I should try Stone Oak Jewelers. Mike is the guy that helped us and he was very professional & friendly. We accepted their offer because it was about 25% stronger than others before it. All in all my Dad is happy and so am I, Thanks. more

I found Stone Oak Jewelers to be a great place to sell gold or silver. After visiting 3 places in my area I decided at the suggestion of a friend to go north a little more to Stone Oak Jewelers. Awesome customer service, Really great visit! Sales associate worked with our budget, and was very friendly and helpful. Independent stores often get a bad rap and I was concerned about visiting Stone Oak Jewelers ( which was referred to us my my Mother-in-Law ) to pick out my engagement ring, but we loved the whole experience after being snubbed by one of the Mall jewelers. I'm Definitely recommending this store ! more

This is the Best place I found to sell some sterling silver. I went to a handful of place in my area but ended up over at Stone Oak Jewelers where I got nearly 2x the best offer I found elsewhere. Thanks for an Easy transaction and the Excellent money I got. more

I bought a very nice bracelet. The sales people were very informative & helpful without being pushy at all. I went ahead because the price was right and because I'd been looking for a bracelet like this for about a year. So it was the time to buy or I knew I'd never find a great deal like this. Best in North San Antonio - Great Store, Stone Oak Jewelers, sold 3 ounces of Gold bars. I got more than any other place would offer, and I got 300. more than Stone Oak Gold Exchange offered. It feels really nice when you can come out ahead and know it. more

We went to several places in the area and found Stone Oak Jewelers to offer the most for my silver ounce coins. I'd had these since I was little and I had no idea they were so valuable. Nearly 30.00 each... And I was in a really bad place financially. I thought I was broke and it turns out I had over 5000 dollars and didn't even know it. I'm so happy I can't stop telling everyone about my experience at Stone Oak Jewelers, they are the Best. more

This is a great place to sell your gold now that it's gone up. No place in San Antonio will pay you as much as the owner will at Stone Oak Jewelers. This is my 3rd visit in a couple years and each time I've felt like I came out ahead. I spoke to Dan this time, but Mike is also very good to talk to about selling gold or silver... more

I drove my father to Stone Oak Jewelers last week when dad wanted to sell some of his old gold coins. I offered to take him to some place I know of but he said he'd already got a referral to this place from one of his poker buddies so that's where we went. The store was very nice and very clean with a very nice selection of jewelry for sale. But what fascinated me was the equipment they use to evaluate your gold. It's like this laser machine box thing, he puts the gold in it, and in a few seconds a chart comes up on the computer screen telling us exactly what's in each gold coin, that was really hi-tech and very cool. The owner Dan explained how he can pay more because his equipment takes the guess work out of the equation. So anyway dad got his money and was very happy. Hope this helps... more

My Mom brought me to Stone Oak Jewelers to sell my 5 ounce gold bar after I totaled my car. I'd hoped my parents would help buy me an inexpensive replacement just to get back on my feet. But with this depressed economy, and the fact I wrecked the other one, they weren't very motivated to help. So I've had this gold bar for about 20 years now and with gold on the rise in value I decided to sell it to buy my car myself. When we got there I thought Mom was going to take charge so i got the best deal but she had me do it. I met with Dan, the owner I think, and he was very polite & professional. He examined my bar with the laser thing that tells you the exact content of the bar, then he checked the weight and made me a very strong offer. I was prepared to haggle to a better price but Dan shocked my with his offer being several hundred more than i expected so I just took his offer right there on the spot. I'm driving again, I am grateful, and feel like I've learned allot from this experience. Stone Oak Jewelers is #1 in my book. more

AMAZING JEWELRY STORE that wasn't pushy at all. Very laid back atmosphere. My husband and I looked everywhere for a new and improved wedding ring for me. I am very picky and only at Stone Oak Jewelers did we find what we were looking for! Mike was so patient and was great to work with. The owner even came over to help us find the perfect ring. I absolutely definitely do recommend SOJ to everyone we know ! They actually buy gold & diamonds too. more

This is a very nice store. We went to Stone Oak Jewelers to sell my old gold coins and was offered about what I was hoping for, but for sure more than I was offered from any pawn shops. The store was a little busy when I got there and there was a short line I had to wait in, but in the end it was worth it. It's went pretty fast and I got my money. more

SOJ is the Best store in San Antonio to Sell your precious metals too. We sold a small part of my grandfathers old silver dollar collection and it turns out Dad had over 1000. So we collected his most undesirable coins and took them to Stone Oak Jewelers. Dan inspected each coin and made us an offer based on 150 ounces of silver. It's hart to believe we got about 4500 for something my grandfather probably paid 1.00 each for just 60 years ago. The short of it is we were treated right by SOJ and if you go there you will be to. more

We were very impressed when we visited 6/11/2012

We were very impressed when we visited Stone Oak Jewelers a recently to see how much they would pay us for a heavy gold chain and 5 assorted rings in different purities of gold. The heavy ring was 18K but we couldn't tell because part of the stamp was warn down. When he told us it was 18K we were so happy. All in all we came back with almost 3,000 dollars and that's about 1200 more than anyone else was offering. more

With the economy in recovery we wanted to keep our 10 ounce gold bars for as long as possible. My husband went to a bunch of pawn shops and some gold buying businesses and they wanted to play like it wasn't so desirable since it was 10 ounces. So we just quit looking for a buyer. Then we saw a news broadcast about gold buying businesses in San Antonio and realized this is very common. But also they said Stone Oak Jewelers was on the level so he took one of the bars there and came back with a gigantic smile and almost 18,000 dollars... We are all set now and we didn't even have to sell the other bar. We could not be any happier with the service we received from Stone Oak Jewelers. more
