WOW just went there yesterday and I will never return. Horrible wait time!!! The place was practically empty and I had to wait at least an hour, and when the food finally arrived it was awful. We ordered a Philly cheese steak and fry's. The bread was soaking wet and the fry's were cold. We also ordered a Cajun Walleye sandwich with a side of mac n cheese. The breading on the fish was not even hot very bland and boring and the side dish wasn't even ready. We just sent it back and ordered a pizza which was very small and made me sick. Would recommend avoiding dining at this place unless you like to wait an hour for food thats gonna make you sick. TWO THUMBS DOWN HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE more

I brought some colleagues in for a fews drinks after work one night and had a great time. We sat in the Oyster bar and had oysters and shrimp, and one of my buddies had a bone-in ribeye. The thing was the size of my head and came out of the kitchen sizzling... He said it was one of the best steaks he had ever had. After we ate, we headed out to the patio for a game of bocci and wound up sitting by the fire pit for a few hours. They had not only an attentive staff, but great food. The fire pit and bocci court didn't hurt either. I'll be back more

I live in the Chicago area, however I often commute to Rockford for business. Stone Eagle was recommended to me by a dear friend, and though I tend to stick with restaurants I am comfortable with, I chose to venture out and try something new. I was throughly empressed with the generosity and special attention of the owner, Jim Vitale (he personaly greeted us at the door!), the knowledge and courtesy of the staff members, and the decor was absolutely outstanding! My guest and I chose a bottle of the house Merlot, and I was astonished to find that we had the option to re-cork the bottle and take it home, seeing as though we didn't finish it. I had the brick oven salmon (which I loved), and my guest had the NY strip special with a blue-cheese crust that was to die for! I ABSOLUTELY recommend this restaurant to everyone! more

I go to Stone Eagle at least once a week, the customer service is amazing and the food is always delicious. I recommend it to everyone. more
