GEEKSQUAD CAME TO MY HOUSE AND CHARGED ME $150.00 , THEN TOLD ME , MY PANASONIC 52" WILL COST $800.00 TO REPAIR. TO SEEK A SECOND OPINION , I CALLED STEVE SUNDAY MORNING TO LEAVE MESSAGE FOR AN APPOINTMENT , SURPRISINGLY HE ANSWERED THE PHONE. STEVE GOT MY TV REPAIRED IN TWO WEEKS TIME AT $350.00 . I'D PAID $2500.00 FOR THE SET. WITH ELECTRONICS I THINK EVERY SITUATON IS DIFFERENT.SOME GET REPAIRED AND OTHERS GO TO THE JUNK YARD . Pros: null Cons: null more

If you value the merchandise you need repaired, do not take it to Steve's Electronics. He had my tv for exactly 4 weeks and was no closer to fixing it than the day I dropped it off. The first time I picked it up I had to bring it right back because it was doing the same thing I brought it in for. Took it back and got every excuse in the book from waiting for parts to getting help directly from RCA. Finally I demanded my refund which he gave me, minus the labor. Just for ha, ha's I plugged it in at home and now the screen is even worse than when I dropped it off. He said he'd give it back the way I dropped it off. Not a chance. Also, the place is a complete dump. It has to be a fire hazard. more

Do Not Trust Him 8/3/2011

I called because i needed an infrared sensor for my TV. I told him I had already spoken to the manufacturer and confirmed that was the problem. He said he sees alot of this and he will be right there. He said you are right you need a sensor that will be $ 70.00 for the diagnosis of what i already told him. Then he would order the part $50.00 and another $70.00 to install it. About a week. That was 4 weeks ago . I called several times with no answer. Fianlly he picked up and said yes i have the part. made an appointment, no show--called again said he will call back. never did. Then when I finally dot back in touch with him the part is now 130.00 and 70.00 to install. Criminal is how I would describe him. more

AFTER READING A BAD REVIEW ABOUT STEVE'S , I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE DRIVING THE EXTRA MILES TO THE NEXT TOWN, I DECIDED TO GIVE HIM A SHORT, MY 60 LCD TV GOT REPAIRED IN NO TIME. HIS RATE WAS CHEAPER THAN THREE OTHER ESTIMATES . HE'S RESPECTFUL . I'LL RECOMEND HIM . WHEN IT COMES TO TV REPAIRS I THINK THERE'R ISOLATED CASES. THANK YOU STEVE . more

this place sucks!!! 11/17/2010

Dispite what they say about 2-4 repair time thats alot of bull, I took my tv there OVER 3 MONTHS AGO and its still not repaired yet instead I got alot of stories about different companies that make the part & unable to get the part and this guy gives all kinds of attitude whenever u call, because he doesn't want u calling until he is ready to talk to u and when u do talk to him his stories sounds like he makes it up as he goes along. Bottom line he can keep the fee i gave him more

DO NOT USE - I made an appointment with Steve's and they never showed or called to explain. I called to see if he was running late or needed directions and never heard from him again. Very unprofessional. I would NOT RECOMMEND anyone use them. Pros: NONE Cons: Unreliable more
