Had a similar experience at stateline auto sales with a different result, the battery wasnt the greatest. I spoke to the sales manager after buying the car. He said that when it gets cold out or the temperature changes dramatically and the cars arent being run everyday, the batterys tend to go bad. I asked what i should do, he said bring it in and he would see what he could do and double check that the battery was bad to begin with.I was shocked as normally you hear of used car dealerships not wanting to do anything after the sale, like auto credit (never again lord). I did bring the car down, and ended up meeting one of the best technicians i have ever met in my life the kid has to be in his 20's, he pulled the battery out and immediately checked by starting it and not having the battery in if the alternator was bad, the car ran on its own which i guess means the alternator is good. Than he went and did a check with one of his machines, and came out with a new battery and swapped it for me! I have not had an issue since! But have had them do alot of preventative maintenence to the car for me, they saved me alot of money versus going to a mechanic down the road who wanted an arm and a leg. These guys are hard working guys, and helped me out. Not only with getting a car but the car that i wanted at the right price, and making sure it continues to run good! Services i have had since include getting my tires done, oil changes done, and i also had them do a tune up! Amazing work, amazing sales, amazing knowledge. I read the other review and wondered if that person was even talking about the same place, or if they at least called them before spending all that money! I highly recommend going and checking out Stateline Auto Sales before you look anywhere else. If you go there ask for Clay and tell em Charley sent ya! Sincerely, Charles M. Spokane, Wa more

Worst Car Dealership Ever! 4/5/2012

So to start off this dealership is one of the worst out there. So I walk up looking at this car and the dealer comes out offering me a deal as usual. I test drive it and decide hey this is a pretty good looking car and drives good. There were a few problems but very minor in my opinion but what do you expect with a used car you know? Im asking him questions about the engine and he doesnt even have answers for me. Supposedly he rebuilt my engine but didnt have the paperwork for it??!! how do you expect someone to believe you rebuilt the engine with no reciepts or any documents stating you rebuilt the engine?? But the car ran and sounded fine. And everything under the hood looked fine from what I could see. I asked about the battery and he said it was new and worked great, yeah right! He said belts were replaced and everything. Again YEAH RIGHT! So I ask for the Auto Check on the car and he says he doesnt have one, I ask for one and he says, are you gonna pay for it? WHAT?! If your going to sell me a car Im going to want to see a carfax. And I shouldnt have to pay for it. You want me to buy the car right?? So I get the carfax and everything checks out fine. So I buy the car. Then, the next day Im driving the car for work and I park it for 20 minutes, I go to start it and the car wont start! I try to get a jump but even that didnt work! So i take the battery into O'Rilleys and they say that the battery is bad so I have to buy a whole new one. What happened to the battery is great?? Then the next day I take it to get an oil change and they tell me that all three of my belts were cracked so bad that if I had driven it for a week or so more they all would have cracked!! WTF?! So theres another 230 dollars out of my pocket. On top of 80 for the battery! They are so shady and full of crap. They have no selling skills whatsoever, are rude, and they are liars! Dont trust them or believe a word they say about the car unless you know what you are doing and know about cars dont listen to them. AT ALL! more
