State Employees' Credit Union is a good credit union (I called it a bank!) to do business with. If you qualify, you might want to go in there or call them to see if you qualify and to see what kind of accounts would be available to you. I love banking with them. I have never had any problems with them. I always find them smiling and willing to help. They offer ATM Service and they have several accounts you can use that with. Location is ok, and parking is usually easy to get in and out and usually a lot of spaces near the doors. This is certainly a recommended bank / credit union. more

State Employees' Credit Union 10/3/2005

State Employees' Credit Union is located at 403 S Main Street in Shelby. They are near Humphries Quick Stop Convenience Store. First, let me say their rules for obtaining services here change sometimes, so it would be wise for you to call them and ask them if you can join their credit union. I have been a customer of theirs for a long time, and I like going there. They even offer ATM service, which is not that common for a credit union. I feel safe in banking here, as they offer car loans, checking accounts, saving accounts, bonds, and so many other financial services. I like location and parking, as it is a great location for me and it is easy to get in there and out with no problem. more
