STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! 7/29/2011

I cannot say enough great things about Stars In Your Eyes! It was a Monday morning, and I woke up to a pain that I had felt before-severe itching and pain in both of my eyes-to the point I could not even look at my computer screen...I called Stars In Your Eyes and got Sara on the phone-she was prompt, friendly, professional, and gave me tips to keep the pain down before I could come in...needless to say, I was scheuled in 1 hour with the doctor. Stars in Your Eyes should get 10 Stars in my book...Don't bother going elsewhere because STARS IN YOUR EYES has it all! more

Great glasses selection, but... 1/31/2009

I have been going to Stars In Your Eyes on Congress for several year for eye exams/contacts and always receive good service with exams/contacts. I recently went to the Rosedale location to select new glasses due to location. They have a great selection of modern, flattering frames and were very helpful in my frame selection. However, I did have issues from that point with the quality of the glasses. They have to outsource the lenses to be made and cut the lenses at the downtown location. When I came in to get my glasses the next week, one of the lenses had a clear, deep scratch. (Not acceptable for $500 glasses you are paying for out of pocket). When I pointed this out, of course they offered to remake the lens, but I had to wait another week). When I came in the following week, the remade lens was a different size (these are rimless glasses) than the other lens. So needed to be remade again. All in all, it took about a month and 4-5 trips to get my glasses made and I still wouldn't say they are 100% due to all the handling. Oh, but in the end they offered me a $5 Starbucks gift card as compensation for my trouble. Pros: Great glasses selection, very helpful Cons: Busy on weekends, poor quality control more

Out of This World Service! 3/11/2008

I've been a client of Stars in Your Eyes for a couple of years now, and have always been pleased with every visit, but my last experience blew me away. It was a Saturday, and that morning I had dropped one of my last contact lenses down the drain like an idiot. I was completely bummed-out because that evening I was having a house warming party and my glasses aren't completely flattering. So that morning I went to work, and called repeatedly to the downtown location. Half way through the day after calling dozens of times, I'd lost hope when I remembered that they'd opened another location in Rosedale. I called and Michael answered the phone. RELIEF! After talking with Michael, we realized that all of my prescription information was downtown (which was closed this particular Saturday.) Back to square one, no contacts for a night that was so important. Fifteen minutes or so later, Michael called me back and offered to drive to the downtown location, get my prescription, and offered me a trail pair of contacts (I had to purchase my prescription of course, but at this point I was more than willing.) One more road block - I didn't have time to go get them! I was having lunch with some out of town family. So in the end, Michael ended up driving downtown, getting me a pair of contacts, and DELIVERING them to my downtown office so I could pick them up later that evening before my party. Now, I'm not advertising that they now offer delivery or anything (for the record, they don't) but if you need eye care professionals in your life that understand...well...life, these guys should be in yours. Thanks again, Michael. Pros: location, personable staff, not pushy with sales, not a corporation! Cons: none to speak of more

Great with kids 1/2/2008

I've been a client of Stars in your Eyes for almost 7 years now and have been impressed by the service I've received each and every time I've visited. So much so that I've trusted them to take care of my son at their more family friendly Hancock location this past fall. I have to admit I was decidedly nervous about my 6 year old son and eye exams. But Dr Emily and her staff were fantastic with him. He was calm and patient through all the "testing machines". Believe me that was due only to the kindness and patience of the staff. They took his natural exuberance and focused it in such a way that only those gifted with working with children can do. The day he received his glasses, the results were immediate. That evening's 15 minutes of reading homework was a pleasure for all of us. Not only has his reading improved dramatically, but his new found ability to focus has improved his behavior at school as well. Surprisingly 3 months later, he hasn't lost his glasses. Not only that, he reminds ME that Dr Emily said "if they're not on your face, they're in the case". Stars in Your Eyes made an impression that stuck and has had more benefits than originally hoped for. I will continue to recommend them to anyone who asks. more

Pleasant, Gentle, Knowledgeable and a friendly atmosphere! 12/5/2007

I hadn't been to the eye doctor in a while, but it was time. I was alittle apprehensive because it had been so long and the last visit wasn't a great experience. I had nothing to worry about at Stars in your eyes. The doctors were all pleasant and gentle but most of all very knowledgeable. The office staff were a blast, friendly and efficient. I would recommend this office to everyone. more

Great Atmosphere. Modern and Friendly! 10/14/2007

I happened to walk in the other day to check it out. I live in the neighborhood. Nice building, modern. Immediately greeted by a hip, young woman with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. I don't wear glasses but this place has a nice selection. Neat childrens area too. I would reccommend on customer service alone and atmosphere. Pros: Great Customer Service, Nice Atmosphere, Good location more
