The men from Starr Companies LLC. were very well-organized, and seemed to work very hard while they were here. And they worked very quickly and things look correct to us. Horrible at first, but took care of the problem. 12/14/2011

Everything was horrible from day one up until the last ten days, when somebody else got involved, and then it was great. The first project manager from Starr Companies didn't start when they said he would. It took him over three months, and the guy never returned my calls, or offer an explanation for why nothing was being done. My neighbor was the one who recommended them to me, as he had a good experience, and I asked him who his project manager was. I asked for that guy, and ten days later the roof was done. I guess the true way to find out if a company is good is if they take care of a problem, and they did take care of it. D. Rogers more

Starr Companies Roofing Restorations had some real difficult gutter work to do on the high side of the house. They were able to do it, and it was hard work up high, but they got it done. It looked good, it was done right, and they did it without tearing up the roof. more

Good company and dependable! 11/14/2011

The people at Starr Companies LLC were just really good to work with! They sold the product, delivered everything, and were professional. They were what you would expect, which you don't get anymore these days. I had seen them around so they're pretty visible. I had seen Starr Companies' vehicle before. Starr Companies installed a gutter system for me. I would just recommend them! They're a good company and they're dependable! more

No complaints! 10/20/2011

We've had Starr Companies LLC do varied roofing jobs in Texas. They are very reliable and prompt. The work has not had to be redone. We've been using Starr Companies for a year, and they have always been available and willing. They travel around the whole state of Texas to do the work. My experience with Star Companies LLC has been good. I have no complaints! more

Absolutely wonderful. 10/18/2011

Kingsland got hit with a windstorm type of thing, I think back in February or March. I had been going through a lot of personal issues, and my brother had just passed away, so it was a very rough time. Starr Companies was very diligent. They knew what I was going through and took the time to just keep coming back when I could have them over. They were absolutely wonderful! When we got everything together they were out here and got it up in one day. They did a great job! more

Did the work quick, was meticulous, courteous, and friendly. 9/20/2011

Starr Companies was top-notch, and I would definitely call them again. We needed a roof repair done on a rental property, so we had a guy come out and do the estimate, and it seemed like a fair amount to just do the repairs. The guy who actually did the bid, the sales guy, knew enough to come out later in the week and actually do the work, and I was very impressed by that. He did the work real quick, was very meticulous, and very friendly and courteous. He knocked the job out, I wrote him a check, and it was a done deal. more

Acceptable work, but expensive. 9/12/2011

After a hail storm in my area, there were several roofing contractors coming to my door. I decided to go with Starr Companies because they were here when we needed them, and I liked the salesman. They did a full replacement on my roof, and the work itself was pretty good. It will serve the purpose, and the cleanup was alright. The problem was that they quoted us a price, and in the end the job was about $1,000 more that what I was expecting. I wish they would have stuck to the bid. more

I didn't have any problems with Starr Companies at all. They got it done in a timely manner, and I haven't gotten a call from the tenants about any leaks, so at this point I'm okay with their work. more

Starr Companies Roofing Restorations was a little expensive. They did some roofing for us. I was recommended to them by another contractor who said that they were a good company. This was the only time I used Starr Companies. Starr Companies is a good company to do business with. They're a little expensive but other than that, they're good. more

Good, reputable roofing company, but I didn't care for the workers. 7/12/2011

It's hard to rate Starr Companies in terms of service and my total experience. I have no problem recommending them. I think they are a very reputable and good roofing company. The gentleman I worked with, Chris, and his secretary, Lisa, were very nice. I have the utmost respect and admiration for them both. However, I didn't care of the workers and how they disrespected the house. I would never have the actual workers back again. I live in a nice manufactured home, and I was sitting in the living room when I heard a great big huge sound, like a bomb. The workers had dropped the roofing materials and the impact made pictures fall off my walls. They could have done structural damage too for all I know. I was just furious with them! They were also supposed to pick up all the nails, but they were very messy. Chris was aggravated with them too. Both he and his secretary I had no problems with. They were a little hard to get a hold of at times, but they were good otherwise. As far as I know, the roof is good, and that's all I can say. Lynette Hayword more

Everything seems to be in good shape. 7/11/2011

Starr Companies service was good. I had them put in another gable over a t-shaped building where my original guy didn't put the correct gable crossing in from the shop to the house. They put it in, but I really wish they could have finished it off down toward the bottom where it's gonna go in toward the gutter, but they told me that it was about the only way they could do it. There was a small leak, but I wasn't around to observe it. Starr Companies is supposed to come out and fix it, though they may have already because I was gone for a little bit again, and it hasn't rained since then. I'll give them a call if it's still leaking, and I'm sure they'll make it good. Otherwise, it all seems to be in good shape. more

We're very happy with the service that Starr Companies provided for us. They stand by their quality and work ethics. I would recommend them to anyone. A lot of roofs in our area had hail damage from a few years back. I saw them around so I decided to contact them. They had done my neighbor's roof and she was the one who recommended them to me. I received three bids but I thought they were the best. They weren't the cheapest but they did good work! more

Starr Companies installed a couple of roofs for me. They were flat roofs for a couple of condos. I would say that they had some problems, but they did their very best. more

Old Fashioned Service / Courtesy 5/25/2011

Hard to find a company that delivers on their promises. This company trains their people to be on time and deliver Quality Products and Service at a competitive price. I could have gotten more bids on our repair job but just didn't feel the need after the Sales rep called me right away to set the appointment. No hard sell - just good business relationship building. more

Starr Companies Roofing put on the new roof for us. They did leave some nails in the driveway; we picked some of them up ourselves. They came back and picked up the rest. They cleaned everything else up nicely. From what I can see from ground level, the roof looks fine. I would recommend Starr Companies because they did come out and do a good job. more

Everything was excellent! 5/17/2011

Everything was perfect with Starr Companies, so we have no complaints. The gentleman that came and looked at it first was very thorough, and he told me and my husband exactly what to expect. When the workers came, they did an excellent job. They were just busy, busy, busy! We didn't ever see them sitting around smoking or messing around and having a good time. They went to work and they did what they said they were going to do. The clean up was very good too. They cleaned up everything from the roof, and there were no messes left behind afterwards. I just can't say enough good things about anyone or anything. Everything was excellent! more

Star Companies is professional, hard-working, and respond quickly to their customers needs. 4/26/2011

Star Companies seemed to work well and responded quickly to our needs. They were able to do what we needed them to do and they did a really excellent job. We have an apartment complex they were re-shingling partially. They maintained a good working relationship with management there and with me, and didn't disturb the residents. They kept the area they were working in clean and there were no problems. more
